I also would like to say that, more important to me in this scenario is that there is a Prothean in this game. I don't know how they're planning on using the character, but on the surface? It sounds pretty fucking dumb. Part of what was awesome about that was that they were only there via ancient holo-whatevers in ME1. I loved that. To bring one in this late in the game seems like deus ex machina at its finest (although I guess we know it won't be that because it's DLC -- unless Bioware has completely gone to the dark side).

So yeah, my hope is that it is perhaps an insignificant to the overall mission sidequest that fleshes out something. With as good as the ME story is, my thought/hope is that it is some kind of holo thing where Shep fights alongside a Prothean AI-ish character that gives some insight on how to potentially beat the Reapers. Still though, I agree ATB, it's shitty either way. Just put it with EVERYTHING. I can understand putting out weapon skins, weapons, armor, etc...as DLC to entice fans to buy more (and I don't even really disagree with it -- even if I think it is a bit of a fuck you to your hardcore fans), but story stuff to entice pretty much EVERY fan that has been with you since the first? That is a blatant fuck you to pretty much ALL of your fans.

It's a bummer, but I'm resigned to the fact that I will pay for every piece of DLC for this game regardless.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I have the utmost hopes for this game, but knowing that I'll likely buy every piece of DLC that comes out doesn't really indicate it will be a good game.

The story aspect is surprisingly short and the combat/ai is pretty bad in ME1. Too often do enemies just go behind a crate to merely wait for you to come kill them. Every mako part you can just drive past everyone without any fear of death.

Liara, Noveria, Feros, Virmire, Ilos...all are roughly 50 mins to 1hr 30 mins each. That's pretty much the whole story outside of the start/ending.

I would imagine it's do-able in like 7 hours if you knew every shortcut and skipped through as much as you could.

I'm trying to decide if I will get this for xbox or ps3. I played through ME1 and 2 on xbox but i did play a little of ME2 on the ps3 when they released it. Since buying my vita unless its a multiplayer game like bf3 Ive been getting most games for my ps3.
