I like how, after I peckerslap this Kai Leng douche, he brings a helicopter in to blow the damn place up, yet fucking Shepard is acting like he should have done more. Even Anderson said "So Kai Leng beat you". Dudes, he needed a fucking GUNSHIP to do it, and even then he couldn't take me out, he had an easier time destroying a several thousand year old building.

Shepard is such a badass.

It is a justifiable concern. This game is funny in that some characters talk about shades of gray yet for the most part Shepard is very black and white. The worst thing is Cortez is actually a pretty cool dude.

Now I fly to Alpien Crest to reach Castellus for the fetch quest there.

Stupid game froze on me in the middle of an autosave... while I have a manual save intact after Tuchanka, I fear the files may be corrupted...

EDIT: Game is intact.

I don't mind playing ME3 again but I want to have a complete finished save first.

So, for those that either finished the game, or at least got to the next to last mission:

 

I am really curious how shit like this plays out long term. Thane was killed on the Citadel by Kai Leng, and then I went anti Paragon and did the Renegade reaction to fucking stab him in his bitch ass. It was all so awesome, because Shep even said "This is for Thane" but I wonder how that would change if Thane was dead the whole time? I feel like I'm going to be playing this fucker through in all three of its games like 1,00 times just to see all of this random shit.

It was great because it genuinely made me feel like if I didn't fucking Renegade it, I'd be fucked. Doubt that is the case, but still, was a fantastic moment.

Badass combat moments that make me really excited to dig deeper into multiplayer:

Liara drops a Singularity on a group of 3 shielded guys, I toss a Shockwave, and while it is approaching them, Garrus does an area attack Override that strips all three of them of their shields. They instantly go zero g in the Singularity and then my Shockwave hits them for massive damage, killing all 3.

I felt pretty bad the whole time I was telling Legion that I was in support of destroying the Geth while he was pleading his case to upgrade them to help in the fight, and I had to put him down.

So I just beat it...honestly, I liked the ending. It wasn't spectacular, but rarely is an ending. It was very good for me as a finale of my Shepard's journey though.

Tengo, tell me what you didn't like about the ending in spoilers and while you're doing that I'll try to think of what I did like about it. Others, I'm curious what you think. JHen, I get your point to a degree, but just because I don't think that there was outright denouement, I think it ended well enough.

One of the better things they added to the game.

Biotic combos like the Warp Bomb (anything with Singularity really) are great when playing as an Adept.

I really want to try the new Tech combos as an Engineer once I get done with my initial runthrough.

My thoughts on my ending:

 

I decided to basically accomplish what the Illusive Man was trying to do all along, just because I felt like that would be the easiest for everyone that was left alive. Otherwise if you destroy all synthetic life the whole cycle would basically just restart over again with no more Mass Relays. At least if you control them then Shepard is basically just the collective consciousness of all synthetics so you can, in a sense, control the outcome of the future still for peace.

But I was sorta pissed it only showed the Normandy crash land on some planet with Joker stepping out, then Ashley (love interest) and EDI for like 3 seconds. There really was no closure at all, I couldn't care less what happened to James McBro Brostein Vega, but WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO GARRUS?!?! And Liara? That was the only letdown for me really.
