Does the game track how much time you spend on it in real time? I see it tells you how many days have passed in the game but I don't see any HRS:MIN tracking. I'm guessing people saying they have played 100+ hours is an estimate.

Cuz you're the DragonBorn and killing dragons is what you were born to do. Now if you were the GiantBorn or MammothBorn....

Thats one of the few things I was disappointed with in this game. Dragon battles should felt much more difficult and something where you have to use every resource you have to win.

Also, for the next Elder Scrolls game I was thinking instead of having 5 or 6 decent sized cities, they should have one gigantic one. Like with multiple districts and areas, then just have smaller cities in the country side.

I've been watching a guy on Twitch playing a 'no death' campaign on the 2nd from highest difficulty, he is on level 46 and hasn't died yet. What he does is when he fights a boss (not sure if he does it for dragons) he puts it up to the highest difficulty.

                  You could do that.

Here is how the different difficulty levels affect the game

Personally , I play on 'Apprentice'. I want the game to be fun, not piss me off. I'll raise up later if it gets too easy

                  Code:
Difficulty | Damage Dealt | Damage Taken
                  -----------------------------------------
                  Novice | x2 | x0.5
                  Apprentice | x1.5 | x0.75
                  Adept | x1 | x1
                  Expert | x0.75 | x1.5
                  Master | x0.5 | x2

Based on this, there are a few things you can extrapolate as the difficulty level increases:

Skills based on damage increase more slowly, and in turn, the slower you level up (thanks yx.)
Followers can be knocked out, and in turn, killed, more easily
                      Your effective health decreases
                      Enemies' effective health increases

I fucking started the College of Winterhold quests and just did the part where I found that orb thing and was told to go back to the college and tell the head guy. When I get to the college, everything is good. I go up to the arch mage and tell him to go look at the orb. I complete the quest, and start a new one. As soon as I fucking step foot outside into the courtyard time thing I immediately keep fucking getting attacked by the teachers and shit. I have no fucking clue why, either. I am about over this game and it's bullshit glitches.

                    Fuck this game.

I had to reload a save last night(and I save very often) because I apparently I stole something , or did something wrong and my warrant level was like 4000 . I'm not sure exactly what that means but it was like having swat after in GTA.

I still don't know what I did but I couldn't go anywhere without getting hammered (both myself and my companion).

Finally I gave in a loaded a save from about 20 minutes prior just to save my sanity.

I should have but I selected that I'd rather die and they were more than happy to help out with that.

loot scaling kinda sucks. i understand they did it so your not walking around with some super overpowered weapon killing everything in one hit but still there's no real incentive to get special weapons and armor until your a higher level because if you find it when your still at a low level it will become useless once you get further in the game and level up more.

then you just go collect other super powered armors. theres a million good items in the game, its just kinda up to you which ones you want to get first to help you get, well, upscaled, to the power of the next one.

but then again i play on master difficulty and i dont have a choice really. i get what i can get asap so i stop getting my ass kicked by everything and everyone.

Because the game basically sets you up to kill dragons easily.

You go a few missions into the main quest and they hand you a weapon that's enchanted specifically to kill dragons.

That's one thing I don't like about this game, too often they'll hand things to you instead of making you earn it. Like putting a bunch of potions right next to the door before a boss. It cheapens some of the fights.

I still look at the Skyrim world in disbelief of how massive it is. I mean, everything above ground, below ground, water, mountains, ships.. I can only imagine how many people and teams it took to create everything.

Just like I referenced in my post above about time, I start playing and get totally absorbed in it. There is ALWAYS one more thing to do and I have a hard time saving and turning it off.
