i think the vilja mod is fucking with my game. i been getting these random crashes which i hear have something to do with some conflict with the followers. she is a fucking pain in the ass anyways. I just left her at my house in Windhelm she looks hot as fuck in forsworn armor though. I will take a pic later tonight.

the concept of the mod is great, but it just doesnt work right. anytime you talk with her to get to the extra storage she has or change her outfits you end up going 3-5 sub dialogs deep and you always have to go back to the beginnning to do shit. its a very cumbersome and tedious process to manage her.

But some things about her are cool like being her follower or having her clean my house or do my shopping. Shit like that.

I also built my first house from hearthfire. Its a short walk north of Whiterun just past the giant camp...yeah, giants and mammoths are my neighbors. i killed those fuckers.

Finally getting over this cold so i was able to play for 4 hours last night. cant wait to play again tonight

i built that home. it take alot longer to build cause you really have to put in time to find the various supplies you need. makes it more rewarding.

Hearthfire DLC allows 3 homes to be built. I built one. Its huge compared to the mod. its also alot easier to build. supplies are more accessible.

I dl this girls of skyrim mod which adds 4 female followers. I took the mage, the archer with me. and i still have lydia. I left my Azura mage follower and vilja at my house in windhelm. the Vilja mod allows you to have your followers stay with Vilja to keep her company.

had alot of trouble sunday with my game crashing. everytime i though i had it fixed, it would happen again. i ended up having to deactivate all my mods and the game itself. then reinstall the game and its updates, then reinstall all the mods. only took about 30 minutes.

the problem with using so many mods is when you activate then deactivate you end up having left over info from the scripts. my game ended up dragging ass and having all sorts of issues because of this. i have it running smoothly again and last night i used the TESV5 cleaning tool to clean out my skyrim files as a precaution.

I installed this skyrim performance monitor which works like any GPU monitor. But this is specifically to run skyrim. I found out that Skyrim has a 3.1gb RAM cap and if you hit that your game crashes. Bethesda says this is based on the 32x limitations and they dont plan to fix it. It really only effects mod use. My game was topping out around 2.5 gb of ram and I run about 50 mods...so the average person should be ok.

Anyways, loving the game and really having fun with it on the PC. Added in Helgen Reborn which adds a full story to that city. I also still have to run through Falskaar.
I phased out my girls of skyrim followers cause I know there is some glitches with add on followers. I made them stewards of my hearthfire houses.

I only keep Vilja around because she has extra storage bags. these are very helpful when I am out on quests. But still, she is an add on follower and it gives me trouble from time to time. I will end up having her stay at a house too. I opened up 2 new followers last night that will fit in real nice with Lydia. I will have 2 tanks, one 2 handed and the other 1 handed with shield, then I will have an archer. Plus me as a mage...although i been moving into more one handed and archer kills.

im surprised how much i am still able to be into this game. i played 150+ hours on 360 and when i got this for pc i wasnt able to get into it back in 2012. But this time around i am totally locked in. trying to focus more on quests that i didnt do on the 360. I didnt do any of the civil war on 360, but on pc i had a blast with it. The dark brotherhood is another i didnt touch on 360.

i downloaded Helgen Reborn a ways back and never started the quests. I was in Falkreth last night looking for the guy who gives you the hangover movie easter egg quest and came across this guy. Once I started talking to him I realized this was the guy who starts the Helgen quests and amazed how good the story this guy was telling is and how well the voice acting was.

I have played a few mods that add on characters and quests and so far this one is by far the best. I plan to dive into it soon to see whats going on, but the initial story his very interesting

just finished the dark brotherhood for the first time. only did like 3 quests on the 360 so this was all new to me. there is still one quest or maybe more, but i got all the way completed with the new sanctuary and got it redecorated. the quest was rather shocking when i got betrayed. fucking bitch. lol

i think i may be finished. did the main quest, the civil war, dark brotherhood, thieves guild, mage college...not much left to do. level 61, and i shifted my mage over to a archer/2 handed beast. reset my destruction and conjure skills twice. did speech, smith and enchant 1 time. guess i got my moneys worth out of the pc version.

sadly i dont have a goto game now
