With nothing of interest coming until end of August I think i'm going to do another Oblivion playthrough throughout July/August.

a complete (or as close as I can) to 100%, including Shivering Isles. play it full out sim style too, no warping around the map and shit, etc. I only ever did a "story run" on an old Gamertag when the game came out years ago, so there should be a bunch of stuff I've never done before.

17 hours in so far...got nailed with Vampirisim, fml. In the first cave trying to get a Soul Gem for the witch bitch but ran into a Will o the Wisp and he's pretty much impossible to kill. Kind of screwed at the moment, may need to leave and play during night for a while till i get a weapon that can defeat it more easily.

i did that. its that 1 oblivon gate i mentioned completing. he is up at the cloud temple and i am a member of the blades

I have never ever ever killed a will o the wisp. My expert advice? If you see one, run.

no. i am planning on picking up the 5 year anniversary game later this month. I had to search several stores to even locate a used copy of the game. the 5 year game is supposed to include all the DLC.

i cant wait to get that horse armor

Took 32 silver arrows. None of which are found on the corpse either. Thankfully I only had to kill one in that cave, hopefully the next 4 don't have one....

If you find yourself in a swampy/marshy looking area, chances are you'll find a few of them hanging around, and that's just outside.

Theres one cave you go into where you reach the back and there's a woman in all black magic armor. If your not like level 20 a and you see this lady. Turn around and leave because you will die a horrible, horrible death. Also I think her sword is poisoned. The loot you get from her is damn sweet tho.

Hopefully you're not playing on PS3 kg.. Vampirsm is incurable through that quest for whatever reason.

Oh and btw the $1o voucher for skyrim is a mail in rebate, and you need to buy the strategy guide for skyrim and oblvion 5th at the same time and send in the receipt with the rebate.
