Originally posted by InfluenceAll the armor (not including Nights of the Nine), then I got all the amber armor from Shivering Isles, and beat the main quest.
All of my armor/weapons were all enchanted and I just stopped playing. I may be able to get back in it, but as of right now I'm just waiting for this game to come out. I played through Oblivion once already, but I still need to play through Nights of the Nine. I should probably start that.
You got ADD you bum.Comment

What kind of characters you guys gonna roll in Skyrim?
In Oblivion i'm using a Khajit Thief/Marksman stealth sniping from the shadows but I can't imagine another 100 hours in skyrim doing that again, especially with the open battles vs Dragons n shit.
Figure my first guy will be a straight up Wizard with some sort of minor hand held weapon skill. My 2nd I plan on having a straight up barbarian focusing on 2 handed warhammers and shit.Comment

I'd create a conan the barbarian type, with a hot, big busted, long dark haired mage.
But since we can't, I'll probably create a normal sized, athletic thief type like I did in Oblivion. Not the smartest character to make, but it was fun.Comment

I thought your skills developed as you used them? So you couldn't you become really good at both weapons and magic?Comment

I can't imagine you can max out all attributes?
Never really been a fan of the "jack of all trades" character builds because then you get bogged down carrying gear to support everything as well as characters like that just don't traditionally exist in this genre. Don't want to be running around in full plate throwing fireballs from the shadows, lulz.Comment

I have never played Oblivion(but I liked Fallout a lot) and only recently started looking into this game. HOLY SHIT. The advanced classes I take this year give 2 hours of homework per night. That shit will have to wait after I get my nightly Skyrim fixComment

I'll probly roll with what I did in Oblivion, first a nightblade type: sneaky, mage with light armor and sword and shield followed by a nord badass with a big fuckin axeComment

Borrowed Oblivion from my friend, stuck on the first Oblivion gate. Those damn imps are so strongComment

what kinda character u playin as?
if youre a warrior, rush em in between fireballs and block or dodge (run serpentine).
if youre sneaky, shoot the fuckers with a decent bow before they know youre there.
if youre a straight up mage, i hope you have an ice spell.
even as a warrior, i sneak around oblivion until i get caught to try and avoid getting overwhelmed by numbers. if it still isnt workin for ya, you can always turn down the difficultyComment

Lets just hope this game is not a buggy mess like Fallout or god forbid FO: New Vegas.Comment

Skyrim started just after that.
I'd wager that in 5 years and 8 months, there's enough polish put on this game that your car is going to shine while driving home from the store when you pick it up.Comment
