So turns out I can't get release day shipping from Amazon since it's a Holiday tomorrow. So I canceled my order and I guess I'll head to Best Buy tomorrow morning when I get up to get this.

Sidenizzle question (I ask alot of questions I know), when you're choosing your type of character, does it tell you what the differences are between each one?

Well you'll really just be choosing your race and I think they reduced the impact on the racial traits for this year...I can't recall.

You don't really pick a class, you just be who you want to be. At least that's how I think it'll be. With Oblivion you picked your major/minor skills but in the end you can level up anything you really want to.

To a point, think Fallout 3 in terms of leveling. Some will, but ultimately there will be a lot of areas where there are just strong monsters and you'll have to either fight them or come back.

Dang. So no reason to really just stroll around and level up to try to get supremely powerful

I'm kind of shitty that I'll have to wait until I leave work on Friday to pick this up. But on a positive note, I have nothing going on this weekend, so I may not see the sun for a couple days.

I just loved doing that in Oblivion. Just wandering around for no reason and lvl'ing. Then I was pissed when I found out all the baddies leveled with me.

One of my room mates has been playing Oblivion and is going to beat the final quest of the main story tonight when he gets off work. Good to go into Skyrim with the history lesson all refreshed n what not.

Nothing is ruined by doing so TBH. You'll just get more amped up cause it's just constant flashes of awesome things.
