kind of wish I had spent some perk points in Speech. Would like to get the vendors more gold to buy my potions.
Got real loose with spending my perk points last night. Terrible choice.
And I can't figure out how to get the conjure fire atronach to work. I cast it and my mana depletes but nothing happens. Figured conjuring would be good to go with archer class but if I can't get it to work that's going to suck balls.I give rep not thanks

To the second point, I'm not too familiar with magic but perhaps your mana just isn't high enough to cast the spell? Not sure. One recommendation I would give for some easy conjuring would be to head to the bar/inn in the marketplace in Whiterun. I did a quest there that for one, was fucking crazy and cool, and for 2, I finished with 2 staffs that both conjure familiars (one of which is awesome). I only use them in special situations, but they have come in handy for tougher enemies. That and you can just recharge them as needed.Comment

It's a bit of a pain to raise because unless you want to just buy shit and keep doing the basic shit to it you won't raise levels without training, but the bonus' down the road should be awesome (make your own Dragon Scale or Bone armor? Improve enchanted weapons and armor? Yes please).Comment

I'm not sure since I'm not really using magic at all, but my gut would say that would fall under enchanting, since you can't create anything with Smithing that utilizes charges (or is enchanted in any way for that matter).Comment
