Nobody told me the melee characters have sick ass finishing moves.

well, that certainly simplifies things for me.

one handed / heavy armor / block / smithing. and a Nord. since those asshole Nord rebels are racist as shit towards elves and khajiit. already liking the nord aspect way better - people are much friendlier, and i really feel like a hero. plus, with all the Dragonborn stuffs, I still get some spellcasting anyway, without the need to be a spellcaster. also, shield bashing is awesome. block the attack, shield bash a bitch back, then watch as the game just wrecks him in a cool way.

SUCH an awesome game. Pretty sure i'll be greeting the dawn today, and like, sneaking in bed about half hour before my woman's alarms just so i dont take shit for being up all night

Random dragon moments are great. I had one where I positioned my guy on the ridge of a mountain overlooking all the scenery in the moonlight while I started loading a bowl. Out of nowhere I hear the screech of a dragon as it zooms down over me. Fast forward an hour or 2 later and the bowl sits in front of me still practically empty.

Dear Bethesda,

You're doing great. Don't sell out. You are getting a lot of rep with Skyrim out, with numbers that are astronomical compared to past games, but I think I speak for all your fans when I say that we would rather wait 5 years between games and be inspired by each new world, rather than have you go down the path of Call of Duty and others in the new game every year mentality. You are one of the few gaming companies that deserves the respect of the players. Lets keep it that way.

If your follower has been replaced, she's most likely back at her home in Dragonreach. Go back to the Jarl's hall in Dragonreach right next to Whiterun and Lydia should be sitting in a chair on the Jarl's side of the long table.

That's exactly where she was. I walked past her the first time i went in there because i was expecting her to be in all the armor i gave her.

That sucks!

I had the same deal with EVERYONE telling me I didn't look well. I'm thinking, "I'm good as gold people so shut the heck up."

Then I figured if you go to Magic in the menu and look at Active Effects I had something called RockJaw that was giving me a nice -25% to mellee

LOL. Good thing for me, is that before BF3 and Skyrim, my Xbox didnt get used for like 2 months except for Netflix. I proactively told her that around November, Ill be putting some hardcore gaming hours in.

Its panned out pretty well so far, she can't really say all I do is play the game and not do anything with her because until recently, I didn't play much.

That works too. The problem I'm having is this:

I work early mornings and get home around noon. Girlfriend works 9-5 so that gives me a solid 5 hours in the afternoon.

Only thing is, 5 hours is not nearly enough for Skyrim...

yeah last night around 6 I was free of things I needed to do and was deciding what to do next. Had a Madden game set for 8 and of course my first thought was "PLAY SKYRIM NAO", but then I was like..."well I only have 2 hours, what's the point?"
