Just finished the Civil War quest line. Pretty fun because of the big battles. I also think I know what one of the DLC's will be:
Pretty obvious at the end you'll be fighting the Thalmor at some point or at least I hope you will be. I hate those cunts. I kind of wish I would've gone Imperial but at the end of the day, I really want to kill the Thalmor.Comment

I stopped some tonight to play some Rayman (which is awesome), yet I can't stop thinking about how much of a step forward this game is for Bethesda. I mean, holy shit. This game is so well realized and the quests are not only numerous but genuinely unique (for the most part)...it's amazing.
Now here's hoping they can use the shit ton of money they make off of this on better (also more) voice actorsComment

I got Chain Lightning in the Hall of Continance at the College in Winterhold. I didn't look at the other two, but I'll bet they're there.
I also picked up my new Adept Robes Of Destruction: 17% less Destro cost, Magicka Regen 100% faster. Love it!
Also, had another funny random dragon occurrence. While I was 'looting' all the rooms for dragon souls and alchemy items, which BTW you can get a TON of useful crap here, the NPC's in the rooms were tripping. A few times I thought I was caught for stealing because they'd all of the sudden pull out the magicka hands and looked like they were going to kill me. lol Eventually I got out of there and fast traveled to Whiterun, and as soon as I land there I get a free dragon soul! LOL I never even saw a dragon, so I don't know how I got a soul. True story.sigpicComment

ive poured like 16 of the last 24 hours into the game since my late night re-roll into a melee last night, and i realized ive only really checked out one hold and like half of the greymane mountain.
and theres still 8 holds and major towns worth of quest lines left.
just a massive, massive game with interesting shit everywhere. the surprise dragon attacks are awesome too. i never know when its time to run around like a bug dodging a magnifying glass until he lands and then i cut his fucking head off.Comment

Just read an article about some things this person was disappointed with in Skyrim. While I love the game, I did agree with him about one thing, fighting dragons. Any regular dragon really isn't that difficult to kill. I realize I can up the difficultly level but still, any type of dragon should be a really tough battle. I mentioned earlier the toughest fight I had was with a blood dragon and that was awesome because it was so damn hard to beat.
I think what happened was they realized that dragons were going to be a big part of the game so they couldn't make them really hard to kill because it would be really hard to get souls and to unlock shouts. I think what they should have done is created 9 really tough dragons that are in each hold, in addition to all the random dragons. This way you could seek them out and fight them and get some big reward. They could be on the tops of mountains in those regions or something.Comment
