So I found this book for Urag at the Mage College for a quest and when I talk to him to hand it in he just says "Do you think Ancano knew what the eye was all along?" I've tried re-starting the game a couple of times and it still won't work....agh.Comment

the path we took didn't allow you to bring a follower along. You had to talk to the guy in one of the inns and he allows you to enter the crystal. I tried using the dremora lord when I went in there but the flame thrower guys made him their bitch. Hardest quest in the game so far

but about the path
there were 2 choices to that quest. one was with that guy at the inn. then the other was Auzura Shrine
You now have two choices. If you return to the shrine, you will speak to Azura. She will tell you that it is unusable until you have purged Varen's soul from the star. Likewise, if you return to Nelacar, he will tell you the same thing.
The difference is the Star's use afterwards. If you bring it to Azura, you will be able to use it to trap any size soul except for "black" souls, or souls from other sentient beings. If you bring it to Nelacar, the game states you will only be able to use it to trap "black" souls, and nothing else. However, the Black Star acts just like a normal black soul gem and is also capable of catching "white" souls. Black Soul Gems are the rarest and most expensive of the soul gems, since all black souls are grand souls, so it's more cost effective to take the black soul-trapping version.
Once you have made your choice, you will be transported inside the star to battle Malyn Varen. He has a powerful staff and is capable of summoning dremora. Once you have defeated him, you will be transported back to Skyrim, and the star will be yours. If you chose to have Azura fix the star, speak to Aranea Ienith, and she will give you the option of having her as a followerComment

So now I'm doing the quest where I have to go the the Lost Tongue Overlook and kill a dragon, but right before I get there I get murked by a gem shooting a frost spell. I've tried a bunch of different ways to get past it but none have worked, help?
EDIT- nevermind, used the Sprint shout to get by, didn't even think about that because I never use it.Comment

I wonder if Bathesda is going to release some expansion packs, or add content to the patches that will add armor, weapons, and cool shit like that.
That my friend would really bump this game up a notch.
Anybody know anything? Because I have done zero research.sigpicComment

And I believe they said they would do an expansion. This is their flagship game at the moment and they have a track record of expansions. Fallout 3/NV receiving 3 each, Oblivion getting Shivering Isles. I think Skyrim's sales dwarf any of their others games, the potential profit of the dlc should warrant an expansion by itself.
E: And.. So far the Darkbrotherhood quest is amazing.Comment

Beat the game.
Going to Sovngarde was so awesome. Especially seeing all the dead heroes you hear and read about through out the game like Ysgramor and Olaf. Kind of sucked you couldn't talk to them more and that there wasn't more to do in Sovngarde but it was still a cool final mission.Comment

So I seem to only find Elder Dragons now. They are tougher than the normal dragons I was finding before. These fuckers are everywhere now, and they seem to be smarter, stronger, and do more damage. Still not impossible to kill, but they are quite a bit tougher.sigpicComment
