I don't think I've seen Draugrs or Chaurus Reapers outside of a cave yet, but I just came upon something weird.

2 Draugrs were in the delta near Solitude, and got gang banged by three Horkers, when all of the sudden a fucking Chaurus Reaper comes out of left field and whipes the entire Horker group by itself. So naturally I calmly walked in and killed the Chaurus Reaper, but it was fucking awesome to see these things get into a little skirmish.

I love walking along and seeing the world of Skyrim attacking and feeding off of itself. Like when I see a Bear and Sabertooth square off, or when a Dragon that I'm fighting goes out of it's way to land off in the distance and kill a Mammoth mid-fight. Just fucking awesome.

Jesus... I've had one freeze so far and that was on a loading screen. Think I may have caused it too.

That caveman video is awesome. Kinda makes me wanna start over and focus on getting my hand-to-hand up quick as possible. Could be a fun way to play.

Seems like very time I play for any length of time, there is something awesome. Whether its a fantstic new city, cool story, or just a funny moment. Got attacked by bandits yesterday so I jumped off the horse to handle business. After I beat them down, the last one throws down her weapon and begs fo rmercy. I'm cool with that by my horse trots over and stomps on her face to finish the bandit off. Apparently my horse is a cold-hearted bitch.

Just don't delete ur most recent one

The patch released today fixes the freezing and lag issues...and it works.

I was starting to get worried.

Got my Smithing up to 100, so I'm runnin around with all Legendary Daedric armor now, and I'm runnin around with two Daedric Daggers!!! Awesome.

BTW, Daedric Swords were getting me 37 damage when Legendary (not enchanted, where as the Daggers get me 35, and they are so much faster in combat. I'm lightning quick now.

BTW, got my heavy armor up to 100 also, and now all my gear weighs ZERO!!! Fucking awesome! I'm fast, I can take a ton of damage, and I love the death cams I get when I kill with Daggers.

                Daedric Armer > all.

Skyrim Patch Now Out on PS3; 360 and PC Following Soon
PS3 gamers won't have to worry anymore about lag stemming from large save game files.

It is an unfortunate truth, but a truth nonetheless, that Bethesda games are almost always invariably plagued with some sort of bugs following release. Many gamers are willing to accept that because of the nature of the open-world experiences the company's games provide, but they nonetheless expect those bugs to be taken care of before long. Skyrim is no exception to this; PlayStation 3 gamers have been dealing with a particularly annoying issue that should hopefully be resolved with the release of a patch today.

Bethesda has announced the version 1.2 update for Skyrim on PS3 has been released, and those in North America and Europe should both be able to download it as of this writing. Xbox 360 and PC gamers will have to wait another two days or so -- Wednesday, November 30 is the current estimate for when the patch will hit.

Many of the issues the patch resolves are described as "rare," and some are specific to a single platform. Most important among the fixes is one faced by PS3 gamers who had played for a long period of time and created large save game files. This resulted in severe lag that could make the game nigh unplayable without frequently restarting the system.

Xbox 360 gamers hoping to install the game without sacrificing visual quality will also want to grab the patch as soon as it's available. Shortly after the game launched it was discovered that installing the game could cause textures to scale down and not scale back up. This was explained by Bethesda as being due to game's "heavy use of the Xbox 360 caching system." 1.2 resolves the problem so the game can be installed.

Other issues resolved include dragon corpses going away properly, the Skeleton Key working the way it should when the player is out of lockpicks, the Escape button backing out of menus on PC, and "an occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player's wedding dead," which sounds more like the set up for a murder mystery than a Skyrim bug.

The full patch notes, courtesy of the Bethesda Blog, follow below.

Improved occasional performance issues resulting from long term play (PlayStation 3)
Fixed issue where textures would not properly upgrade when installed to drive (Xbox 360)
Fixed crash on startup when audio is set to sample rate other than 44100Hz (PC)
Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away
Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player?s wedding dead
Dragon corpses now clean up properly
Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack
Fixed rare NPC sleeping animation bug
Fixed rare issue with dead corpses being cleared up prematurely
Skeleton Key will now work properly if player has no lockpicks in their inventory
Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor
Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death
ESC button can now be used to exit menus (PC)
Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues (PC)
General functionality fixes related to remapping buttons and controls (PC)

And I'm just around ready to throw the game out the fucking door. I spent something like an hour last night getting through Dead Man's Respite as part of the Bard's college Tending the Flames quest. I got the book I needed and got to a door I clearly needed to go through but couldn't fucking open. I have a key but I need to move the three puzzle rings and they won't fucking move. So I gave up last night. Picked it up tonight. Same thing. Reload - same thing. Reload to a save a short time earlier - same thing. The only other saves I have are right at the start of the dungeon or before. I've spent like three hours tonight trying to sort this shit out. I've looked up walk-throughs and watched Youtube videos of the dungeon to make sure I'm not being an idiot. Nope, its just fucking bugged. Post it on the Skyrim official forum and get no response. Awesome. I've never had a single bug piss me off so bad in a game.

This game is unplayable to me.

I am done for a while.

I can't for the life of me fucking kill a dragon. It is literally fucking impossible. Not to mention I have not ran into any cool quests like you guys are talking about.
