Menards how the hell do you use the non rumble ps3? I was at my buddies once and he handed me that shit, it was too weird. It's lighter than an NES controller i think.
Then again I got the old school habits of moving my hands when I play, you know like when you're driving a car and when you turn, my hands and what not will kinda turn with it. Just seems a bit weird with what feels like nothing in your hands. Kinda like playing kinect......which is just totally gay.
Anyways....I do want to get one of those monochrome 360 controllers with the newer d-pad, i like the look of that one.Comment

So Maynard, did you get one of these controllers yet? You know you cab always do what I did and buy one from TRU, Best Buy, etc and try it first. They will take it back open if it didn't work to your liking.Comment

i am probably gonna get a duel shock 3. i can deal with the layout of the ps3 controller.
any hassles it gives me are far less then having a 3rd party controller that is unresponsive.
i do want to check one out....if its crappy i will just return like twigg mentioned.
i dont know why i never got around to getting a controller with rumble. my main reason for owning a ps3 is the show and its baseball so rumble isnt important.
its funny that after 3 years of owning the system that the show is still the only real reason why i must have a ps3.....such a great gameComment

I don't think it has been mentioned but Nyko makes a Raven controller which is very similar to the one that JMS posted and the one that I bought. I think the Nyko has been getting better reviews and higher marks though.

It also comes in the standard PS3 stick layout or the one featured with the offset sticks, ala the 360 pad.
And here's one of the first reviews I stumbled on:
