I did start with a Noob. Im just pretty good at this game, a lot better then Madden.

I cant win playing Match Play but I did finish the two Sponsor Challenges. The 4par Par 4s and 6putts took 8 tries before I finished it. I think I am on tour pro because I dont have Power boosts or anything like that.

Tour Pro gives you visual indicators (like where your ball should land and such) but no boosts and stuff.

Tournament gives you nothing. Putting is bloody ruthless without a meter.

Am I doing something wrong? What the fuck is this bullshit?

From what I read, you need to go through AM, Q-School and win enough there get your PGA Card, then win enough and get sponsors to keep moving on.

one other thing to make the game more competitive, is to lower the CPU scores in the options, I've been using Very Low and that seems alright, might go Extremely Low.

I've been playing this a lot and have gotten much better. Tour Pro is pretty easy as I get at least par on every single hole for the most part along with some birdies. I think I may need to go up in difficulty or do what KG said and and lower CPU scores.

Nonetheless, I am having a blast.

2 years ago it was the same old easy game once u leveled your guy up. u would never have competition in the tourneys

They have 4 AI Scoring levels beyond default.

To be honest, I haven't read an instruction booklet in a long time. I'm not sure if it's because they are so short and don't give much information or because games usually have tutorials or in game instructions (press START). I listened to one podcast and a person said they stopped reading booklets once they started driving.

Last night was the first time I saw the Master Challenges. All I read from that was if you complete it, you get an automatic invite to the Masters.

The Masters challenges are pretty hard. I've completed 4 or 5 and have tried about 80% of them. I haven't "mastered" any of them, though. Seems damn near impossible on some of them.

I just started playing the game today (I had to replace a bulb on my 2004 DLP TV).

Is there a way to turn off the damn circle when you're putting? (I play on tour pro level).

Played the demo.

I stink at putting but I qualified for the AM Tour if I choose to buy the game, which is pretty cool.
