Skyrim will be the GOTY, easily. You're going to miss out.
How will I be missing out if I don't like games like that...at all? I wanted to poke my own eyes out with a stick after playing Oblivion.
So I get groaned for not liking those games? I guess there aren't any games you don't like? I need to return the favor for you bringing up that game in this thread anyway. Who brings up a plodding, slow RPG in an awesome action game thread?
This kinda fucking blows that everything is getting released in Sept-Oct-Nov. I am already starting to put money to the side out of every check just for those three months.

Exactly. I bet Skyrim is going to get 9.0 plus scores from most reviewers. That doesn't mean it is a game that I like. If I have time, I may try it, but thats it. I didn't even play Oblivion.
You also forgot......plodding, slow RPG in an awesome, crazy fast paced action game. Saints Row has got to be one of my favorite gaming franchise, solely because of the hilariousness of everything and that Volition does not take the game seriously.
Normally there is only 3-4 MUST HAVE DAY 1 games for me, while I can hold off on the rest until they are $20-$30 but this year there are nearly 15 titles I want day 1.

At least we have the summer to save some money. And to catch up on any games that we still have to get through.
