Picked up the game after taking a week break from it. Finished buying all 90 stores. I'm about 10 short of getting all the tags. Need to do the activities and Chop Shop; I'm at 81% completion.

Wow. I'm sure most of it will just be outfits and weapons and such, but still. I just hope they don't try to fuck us bu intentionally omitting crucial shit from the game.

Plan is going to fail I think. Some people just aren't going to go for that content. The only way that that kind of plan works is for a "freemium" game like World of Tanks

Had to give out some late thanks. This looks epic as shit. Loved the first two. I need to upgrade from my non existent system to either a PS3 or 360. I want to buy both games (360) but I wouldn't mind free online (PS3). What to do, what to do. lol.

I'm very excited for how terrific this is going to turn out to be. I wasn't sure they could top the second one, but I guess anything's possible.

Think I'm going to start SR today. I got to 95% in SR2 but I don't think I'm going to get any farther. I think I just need to finish some activities, get all the CD's and find all the hidden places, which I could find through YouTube. The activities would be a pain (some are extremely hard on higher levels).


edit: Can't seem to locate the disc, going to have to buy the double pack in the near future.

One night I decided to rent a game at blockbuster and I chose SR 2. Never played the first and never really heard anything about the series so I didn't really know what to expect other than it was, "Like GTA".

So I play it and the controls great, the cars were great, the overall wackiness the city and its citizens portray.... it was amazing. Sent it back to the video store and went out to go buy it. While browsing for it I see both Saints Row 1 and 2 stacked side by side. I debated for a while on which one I should get and I eventually decided on continuing the progress I made when I rented it.

In short, I bought 2 over 1. Didn't even know there was a double pack till today. I'm just worried like SR2 did something or improved on something (controls, customization, graphics) and if that's the only control scheme I know for this series than going back and down grading may make the enjoyment of playing very rare. Kinda like it was kinda hard going back and playing maddens that didn't have the hit stick/highlight stick.
