Ugh. I do not want to sift through CAG's forums to create a list of games that Amazon has either matched or exceeded what K-Mart offered right now. However, I will say Amazon does not match every K-Mart coupon or deal (see Dead Space 2 and the buy $120, get $60 coupon deal they had recently), but Amazon is usually right there with the bigger releases.

That is just my honest guess. That dude Josh seems to step up his game on the bigger AAA titles. Last year he wanted to do a 30 coupon for COD but Activision wouldn't let him so he had to go to plan B and give out 25,000 SYWR points instead. I've read him saying Battlefield 3 and the new COD should have the two best deals hes ever given.

I know I am going the PC route, or rather laptop route. I know my machine can handle it and I just can't get into playing FPS on the xbox. If anything I do, I'll buy myself a wireless mouse/keyboard, hook this up to my TV and play it off that.

Though I am waiting for leaf to tell me I'll need somethng to play the game. I believe he is buying a new gaming rig for it. I may be getting a new rig for video editing which would just double as my BF3 machine if I swing it that way.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

        "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

EA DICE's Technical director for the Frostbite engine Stephan Boberg has written via Twitter that the newest Battlefield 3 game will feature more then 48120 unique assets.

Mr. Boberg wrote via Twitter: 48120 unique assets and counting... #BF3

What are assets and what do they mean for us Battlefield 3 gamers?

The length of development of modern games is influenced by a number of factors, such as genre, scale, development platform and amount of assets and a complete game development lasts take from one to three years to be completed.

Assets are basically a collection of data files used to support gameplay, and are managed through frameworks such as Microsoft's XNA Framework Content Pipeline.

To understand better, game assets can be easily described as bitmaps, models, textures, and sounds that can be found within game.

This basically means that Battlefield 3 game will feature a large variety of textured models that will be empowered with great graphical and sound effects supported by FrostBite 2 engine and will make Battlefield 3 one of the biggest eye-candy games that were ever released.

By the sounds of it too I got about 2 or 3 people waiting to see what I'm going to build this summer and they're just going to copy me. I'm going to try and shoot for under 1200 to 1300 bucks and I can pretty much achieve that by not buying things like hard drives and dvd drives since I already have them.

I have the feeling I'm going to be putting in an order for like 6 or 7 grand worth of computer crap and build a bunch of gaming PCs for friends.

              Leafs offseason training!

If PSN was up right now we would probably still be playing BC2 on PS3. As it is the only person I know from here that still plays on 360 consistently is BrntO.
Looks like I'll hit up Brnt to play this. I play on the 360 because there are some people from work who play on it. I've been playing with my boss for years now, and he's played with the same group of guys since Rainbow 6: Black Arrow, so its a tight-knit group.

I'm pulling the trigger on a new laptop shortly, so I'll likely get this for the PC. See you chumps there.

Ps3 for me. Playing a game with a keyboard and mouse does not entice me.

I've never been able to do a shooter on the PC, at least not for awhile. The only gaming my PC/laptop gets are RTS games.
