I'm happy with the revive thing and declining it because there is nothing more I hate then getting revived right in the middle of crossfire and dying 3-4 times straight because some idiot medic wants points.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

      "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

          More on the classes:

We’re just getting started with E3, and Battlefield 3 is one of the main events here — and of course, the main reason we’re here. We got some new Battlefield 3 information, this time, concerning the multiplayer classes. For Battlefield 3, the 4 classes have received somewhat of an overhaul. Here’s the breakdown of the new classes in Battlefield 3:

          Assault/Medic

The Assault and Medic a classes have been combined now, where the Assault class can either chose to heal/revive teammates, or you can opt for a grenade launcher instead of the revive kit, if you want more firepower.

          Support

The Support class is now the one handing out ammunition, and can also provide covering fire. You can mount your LMG and if fire in the direction of the enemy, you’ll get special bonus points for providing covering fire for your teammates. You can also select an assault rifle with a flashlight for the dark parts of maps (like tunnels), instead of the LMG.

          Engineer

The Engineer retains much of his role and load-out from Bad Company 2, you’re equipped with rocket launchers against enemy armor, and a repair tool to fix friendly vehicles, and a sub machine gun.

          Sniper

The Sniper has the same role as in previous Battlefield games, and is armed with a sniper rifle, C4 explosives, and spotting gear.

We’ll have more details as we get some hand-on time with Battlefield 3 here at E3.

So they basically told Assault and Medic to switch Lunchboxes and gave the Medic-now-Support a flashlight to compensate...

Assault and Medic are going to become Besties while Recon continues to hump hills and Engineers do their thing.

Assault and Medic are the same class.

Dont see how playing shooters with a keyboard and mouse is appealing.

This really has got to be the dumbest thing I've read. I really don't see how playing with a controllers like the xbox/ps3 can be appealing.

I'll be happy with my mouse and keyboard and 64 player maps and probably better graphics.

Its whatever appeals to you and what you are used to. I didn't play early shooter games on mouse and keyboard, so I prefer them on console and with a controller. My favorite games though are RTS, and with the exception of Halo Wars and Red Alert 3, are nearly impossible to play on a console.
