u guys are some hardcore shooter fans. i just get bored and lose interest. they all remind me of COD4 and none seem to live up to its standard

it poses the question. MW3 or BF3....pointless to ask in this thread. i would probably lean towards BF3 cause i never really played the series for any real amount of time

I agree for the most part. My boss loves shooters, and plays Call of Duty and Battlefield mostly, mixed in with a little bit of Halo Reach. Now, I had a blast when he and I rolled together with a few friends, because we balanced each other out, and most importantly, we were like Herman Edwards- we played to win the game (whatever game type that was.) I get tired of getting on and playing an objective based game, whether on Halo or COD, and seeing players just trying to rack up kills and get killstreaks.

I love to play when there are people to play with that I know will play the game well. But, that isn't all I play. I love to play other games too and I won't prestige for that reason.

I got rid of it because of the learning curve and having nobody to roll with. Its so much different than COD. A monkey can pick up COD and play it, wasnt the case with BF. If it isnt a sports game, Madden or Boxing, then me my attention span isnt that great.

And that is exactly why BF is so much better than CoD.

Once you get the hang of things, which really doesn't take long, and play as a team BF is vastly superior. Not to mention all of the building destruction. I still can't believe they don't have some semblance of it in CoD. Firing a rocket into a building only to have nothing happen is fucking stupid. But I guess as long as they sheep keep buying it why bother?

The graphics look good but it is the advanced lighting that are what is making stand apart. There is a lot of shit going on at once....ill be amazed they can keep up 30 FPS on console.
