I've rented this before purchasing and it won't let me play online. Says I need an online pass before I can play the MP. Anyway around this?

You either have to have the online pass that came with the new copy of the game, or purchase one for $10.

Hmmm........I dunno either, but if the planes have unlimited counter-measures than what's the point of having stinger missiles?

It sucks to a degree, but most guys (with flares) in the air tend to avoid the areas where people are trying to shoot them down from my experience. The ones that don't avoid my airspace don't really focus on ground targets, or they get shot down because they weren't paying attention.

However, I do wish there was a longer cool down time for deploying counter-measures. As it is now, you still won't have the time to get a second lock before they have flares ready to go again.

I've played online and coop and still can't log into battlelog. This shit is ridiculous.

Can someone clarify? In order to receive the HD textures, you have to install both discs? I still have a 20GB HDD, and this is pretty much impossible, if this is true.

no, the HD texture thing is a totally separate install... the game is supposed to look a lot better WITHOUT the discs installed (and with the HD pack installed)...

Then I really don't see the point of carrying a Stinger around. I rather have the RPG....because you can still take out the opposition ground forces with the RPG.

I love the "war stories" that come with the game.

Me and Kyhadely were playing Squad Deathmatch on Grand Bazaar. We were in the middle of the alley fighting them off on both sides. We could have lasted the whole game there if any of us had any ammo.

Yeah that was sweet. Noticed when you switched to your pistol the same time as me, figured you had run out of ammo as well.

Finally turning my luck around, first 10-15 matches i couldn't get a kill. Now i am averaging 7 kills a match and over 2,000 points. Dropping ammo every time i am with 2 or more people, easy points.

Nothing in this game is more satisfying than strapping C-4 to an amphibious vehicle and killing everyone aboard.

Padman and myself did relatively well on co-op last night.

The first mission went well after a few tries (second checkpoint in the top left corner was a little cheap unless you have robot aim).

A few rounds of spotting dudes here and there for a couple of enemy waves; place some AT mines near the left alleyway near the bridge; survive a few potshots so you can use the Javelin and you're gold.

The second mission was decent except that there's no real range between zoomed night-vision and regular camera for the chopper gunner (I think there was 3 options in MOH plus zooming in).

Padman was an adequate pilot and I learned the value of laser guided missles.

The third mission? Fuck those cameras man.

Same deal with the spotting in this one once you get the PLR asset out of enemy custody.

Luckily you get a chance to use those .50 cals... unfortunately you trade off your INRV for better firepower. :ionno:

Other than a few minor quibbles, the audio between our mics improved dramatically from regular MP and I would definitely pay for more DLC if it included more co-op in the near future.

Conquest is really fun when you have your friends online playing. Communicating and getting shit done is a lot easier but I can't play it with randoms because every one does their own thing and don't use their mic.

Biggest pet peeve is seeing like 3 guys just sitting in our base for 5 mins waiting for a heli or jet to spawn. No contribution what so ever.
