Anytime someone respawns their team loses a 'ticket' plus if a team holds more than half of the objectives on a base the other team bleeds the tickets. Which is why medics are so important on those maps, if someone goes down but they get revived a ticket doesn't get used.

Each side has a finite set of tickets (AKA lives) that they all share.
Preemptive TL;DR:
Each side has X amount of tickets depending on the mode you play on.
For example, if you're playing Conquest, you get 250 per side.
As a part of a side, you're job is to deplete the other side's tickets by any means necessary to win a match.
Once one side runs out of tickets, the match is over and a new round begins on a new map.
Depending on what mode you play on, the number of said tickets varies:
-Conquest: Each side is required to capture 4 points (5 on PC) and keep most, if not all of them until the other side runs out of respawns.
Starting off, U.S. Forces and Russian Troops get 250 to begin with.
The team with the least amount of flags during the match will have one Respawn Ticket taken away every two seconds as well; this is what is meant by "bleeding tickets."
-Rush: Attackers get 100 tickets; Defenders get infinite tickets unless the Attackers managed to arm AND destroy all their M-COM stations.
As an added caveat, every time the Attackers side destroy a set of M-COMs, their ticket total resets to 100.
-Squad Rush: Two teams of 4; Attackers have 20 tickets to arm AND destroy the Defenders' two M-COMs to win.
Defenders get infinite tickets.
The Defending side must force the Attackers to respawn 20 times without losing an M-COM to win the match.
Also, like regular Rush, if the Attacker blow up an M-COM, their ticket total resets to 20.
-Team Deathmatch: Each side has 100 tickets a piece; once one side dies 100 times, the match is over.
-Squad Deathmatch: 4 squads, each with 4 players a piece; One squad must get 50 cumulative kills to win the match
On top of that, you can keep your buddies alive and save tickets by setting down Medkits that replenish everybody's health as the Assault class.Comment

I believe it was a couple days ago, but me, padman and Jay were absolutely destroying people. I think we won like 5-8 in a row at one point. THen one of our last matches was a tight fucking match in which us three ran around blowing shit up.
My favorite match from that night was me and Jay drove around (forgot the map name) on Conquest in which there were 5 flags. We captured each one at least 3 times. Was fucking excellent. I got MVP YESSUHHHHH.

Also, if one of your teammates is using Assault class, they can resurrect a fellow teammate via Defib Paddles; this gives your team back one ticket.

Just had an intense game of TDM (Tehran Highway). We came back from down 86-80 to win 100-91 and I got the last 4 kills of the match. Ended up 41-18 with 19 ribbons.
