Forza Horizon - fall 2012??
So there's rumors and a possibly leaked video (although not real gameplay footage) of a possible "Forza Horizon" that could be coming out this fall. I'm not really sure what the game is, it seems more like street racing than circuit racing. Nothing official about this game, but there's quite a bit of chatter about it today. Hope for Turn 10's sake that it would be DLC for Forza 4. If they come out with a full game in between 4 and 5, it would split their community up, which they shouldn't do.

FINALLY!!!
Forza 4 has been getting its share of DLC content, but this is something else entirely. This spring the game will be getting its own Porsche Expansion Pack.
The pack features 30 Porsche models (including 2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic and 2010 Porsche Boxster S), 20 Porsche events, 10 achievements, Porsche-themed Rival mode events, and more.
The Forza 4 Porsche Expansion Pack hits on May 22 for 1600 MS points ($19.99). Microsoft has not mentioned if this expansion is included in the game's Season Pass. We're guessing that it doesn't since from the outset it only encompassed six DLC car packs.

well shit. i for what ever reason downloaded Real Racing 2 on my iphone yesterday and basically fell in love with it. it brought back memories of some good forza days. anyhow, as it turns out i traded forza 3 so i'm thinking of going to buy forza 4 today.
back in the day i used to race with a wheel, but don't really want to fuck with it anymore. i prefer to lay back in my lazy boy with control on my lap and just play. basically like i'm playing ncaa.
however driving forza sucks rhinos without a wheel as far as i'm concerned, or at least i suck at forza without the wheel.

The wireless steering wheel is retarded....
Well it wasnt bad when i tried it but good luck being competitive with it...it is pain during the menus and stuff though. I would buy it for my 5 year old if I had one.Comment

That thing just seems so weird to me. I haven't used it, and nobody here with Forza has either. However, I've seen it get some halfway decent reviews on some sim racing sites.
If you do end up picking Forza 4 up, you should join us for our Sunday night racing league. Pretty laid back racing and quite a bit of fun.Comment

I have the Fanatec CSR wheel, it's more sim-like. It's $250, which seems like a lot, but it's not too bad compared to a lot of the wheels that are same quality. I bought my Microsoft one for around $100 off of ebay.
The Microsoft one is by far the best wheel you can get for that amount of money.Comment
