I'm seriously wondering how Valve's recent "partnership" with Sony is going to go with this PSN debacle. I can see Valve going back to the "fuck Sony" mantra. I can't say that I would blame them one bit.

The only thing they've really invested in the PS3 up to this point is Steamworks though. As far as I know, there is no plan to go back and release something like Left 4 Dead on the PS3 nor is there a new Valve console release planned anytime soon.

However, if PSN isn't up and running by the time the DLC launches (unlikely IMO) or when the Portal 2 level editor exits its beta phase, I think Valve may start to get irritated.

I think so. I don't think it's required for co-op though unless you want to play with someone on PC/Mac.

EDIT: Yes. Steam does work with the PS3 copy.

Good point. I might be able to play later but for no I need to cut the grass. It rained for about threee straight days and it's supposed to rain all this week. I need to cut this shit before it gets too out of control.
