Am I the only one that thinks that the most exciting thing at Sony's conference will be how exactly they choose to handle/mention/discuss the PSN debacle?

I know that they have a lot of great stuff coming up, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more curious how they are going to handle that flub. Will they ignore it? Will they be flip? I don't know why but I'm very interested to see what they do.

Well, they already announced their "Welcome Back" package.

Each PSN user is getting 1 or 2 free PS3 games from a list and a free month of PS+.

I'm admittedly being glib, but I still think they'll have to make some sort of allusion to the situation at E3 of all places, the Welcome Back package not withstanding.

I doubt they are gonna ignore the PSN situation. Who knows they may give us insight of certain upgrades they made and how it effects us.

Side Note: I know I am prolly gonna get called a fanboy, but I always found Sony's conference to be the most enjoyable. They let their products sell themselves instead of using celebrities and stupid guests to force hype. I was dying laughing at MS press conference last year because the guy speaking always was the 1st to start clapping so the audience would follow along.

Sony is the best because what they usually show looks fine. Even though the Move sucks right now and probably will for a while, I still remember them showing actual hardcore games with it. Yet Microsoft used the 1st 60 mins to talk about how they get COD map packs 1st and the Kinect shit with dancing and weight loss.

Sony usually has 4-5 big bang moments that surprise you. Microsoft rarely has any.

IIRC Nintendo Faceraped it last year. The Kevin Butler thing was a time waster, albeit entertaining.

20 Sony Funbux says the PS Move is dead to make way for the dead-in-the-water Xperia (sp?) phone and the NGP.
