So I have to say, I'm pretty damn excited for Uncharted 3. Picked up the first 2 and played through them again over the past month. Can't wait to see what Drake gets himself into this next go around.
I think Sony has convinced me to get the Vita. I've wanted a good handheld gaming device for awhile, and as more of a hardcore gamer, I just cannot play games on my phone. I hate gaming on it. And the 3DS, well, no. Uncharted: Golden Abyss really pulled me in though, as I'm a huge fan of that franchise.
I was hoping to get more of a look at Twisted Metal at the Sony conference, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Luckily there was some gameplay on Gametrailer's streaming though.Comment

Now that you mention it I'm pretty shocked that Twisted Metal wasn't shown. I forgot all about it.Comment

Ok, so I watched the last part.
Ruin looks like it could be pretty awesome.
But one of the coolest things I took away was the cloud saving and picking up your game between the Vita and PS3. Awesome.
I'm still not sold on the Vita name though. I don't know why they just couldn't call PSP2.

It also depends on how much these games sell for. If the majority are ~$30....I could go for that but if they are ~$40+, that's tough to swallow.Comment

Yeah I think the main reason they didn't call it the PSP2 is b/c the first one was a flop. It just didn't live up to what it was suppose to be. And I know prices aren't final, but Gamestop is listing Uncharted: Golden Abyss at $39.99.Comment

Yeah, I was thinking that too. Although I enjoy my PSP quite a bit (I played it a lot during my trip; GTA:LCS is still awesome) I know it wasn't the success Sony wanted it to be so I can see why they want to distance themselves from it. But I think the mere fact that they kept iterating it and continuing to stick with only one analog nub fucked them the most.Comment
