I bought a 3ds XL recently and admittedly am having more fun with that thing than my Vita. So sad.

I'm the complete opposite. I haven't touched my 3DS is ages and I play my Vita daily.

whenever Ive heard that there are no games for vita it's usually after a declaration that handheld gaming is dead...which is pretty accurate looking at both release schedules..

But at least the Vita has had some quality downloadable games like Sound Shapes, Escape Plan, RCR, Frobisher Says and now it looks like they're finally bringing applicable mobile games like Jetpack Joyride and such to the platform.The 3DS has a few like Pushmo but nothing compared to Vita.

Correct there is no way to get VEEDA to display video on a bigger screen. Maybe if you jailbreak it.

One of the main problems is that Sony needs to step up their first party game big time. It's understandable for third parties to not want to invest much without a big install base.
