Yes...I DL and played 1 game so far. Some are saying PSN is now down...must have just beat it if true. Game is solid for a portable. The past games on PSP didn't even look like the consoles lil brother. While not the same, the Vita version is a low res console game with some less audio (stadium songs lacking). With the $10 credit on Amazon, I'm really thinking of picking it up and using the credit on NHL....even getting the console version (comes with $15 credit).

I'm downloading Madden for Vita right now. I just played the 360 version and I was actually impressed by it.

played a Madden Vita game - Gints vs Pats. I won 21-7. Hard to tell in 2 min qtrs. Tough to say....graphics are meh. The players are so small and it is hard to see the ball in the air. Tough game on portable. You have to try it out yourself to see if you like it. I think I would spend $20 on this max. I mean is it ok....nothing stood out.

The players did run funny, and when the crowd got loud the announcers voices got all messed up....maybe vita speakers. (no headphones)

Believe that we might have an advance copy of the full version of Madden for the Vita tomorrow. Should provide plenty of time for a deep dive review to go out on release day if so.

I wouldn't expect the console to go on sale then but the games and memory cards will be.

Apparently that Amazon price was a one day thing or something because now it's back to $40. Of course. I was waiting for those dicks to ship my Sleeping Dogs so I could use the $10 credit from that on Madden Vita. But nope. They still haven't shipped it. Amazon has been disappointing me lately.

The Madden vita demo gameplay itself is actually rather good. A rather impressive development.
But the sluggish playcalling screen menus are a bit unbearable at times. Hopefuly it's just a demo thing.

Yeah, the framerate during play calling and cut scenes is pretty horrible.
