The CPU playcalling in this game is fucking infuriating. I have a beautiful set of AA sliders that I'm using right now, and I love the way the game plays with a few exceptions. .

Anyways, I'm waiting for the patch to drop before I get into my dynasty. Just kind of messing around with rosters, play now games etc until then. Like the game in general but the patch is really needed.

But I'm constantly forced to compensate for the dumb-ass computer. I can't tell you how many times I've seen them run on 3rd and long.

Example, I'm playing Oklahoma. They're down by like 20 points. So they get the ball in the 4th, and they run the ball on 1st down. Then they call a timeout. 2nd & 7? Option play, loss of 4. Third down? Screen pass. Of course...that's how you come from behind.

see for me I think the CPU runs on 3rd and Long because they have a history of gashing me with their run game

Yeah I need a new one as well I think, and maybe a new team and restart. Pittsburgh is fun, but I'm find out how shit the Big East is, and its just a cake walk with the team I have. Just trying to decide if I want a shit school, or an alright school. Sucks not having a "team" to cheer for as this would make things so much easier.

These are based on someone's sliders at OS, with my tweaks. I will say that I am still tweaking them. I'm still trying to improve the CPU's offense as a whole, and I may need to turn down my ground game...but that remains to be seen.

Difficulty: All-American
Speed: Slow
Speed Threshold: 65
Quarter Length: 7 or 8 minutes (I get too many plays on eight minutes. 7 minutes gives me 100-120, so I stay with that)

How is the RtG? I played it when I first started, but I hated how I basically had every top school in the nation wanting me to play for them. Didn't think it was that realistic.

3rd down -----A DRAW. It's 3rd and 18 and we run a draw with 30 seconds running on the clock. I pick up like 6 yards.

4th down ----------MOTHER FUCKING RUN UP THE MIDDLE

the play calling has almost always been bad. Lately it has gotten worse but this version is actually better than last year.

it amazing how 2 EA football games can have such a huge contrast each year. NCAA always plays great and is the better game imo. But this years game, while great, had some mind numbing crap that just ruins the gameplay experience. Some of the BS plays and AI choices just made it unbearable for me.

then u have madden which we all say is a turd for one reason or another. But this years game is amazing on the field. And playing the cpu is like seeing a real nfl team run an offense. I play and wonder if im really playing madden or if its 2K hiding in a madden box. Their playcalling is supurb. When have u ever played the CPU and had them lead in time of possession? it is rare and if it happens its usually real close. I just played one where the cpu had the ball 10 mins longer than i did and they won the game

I posted this in the cb, but I thought I'd put it here as well. In my Ohio State dynasty that I talked about earlier, its week 14, we're 11-1, ranked #4.

Boise State is 10-1, ranked #2 in the country, and can pretty much lock up a spot in the BCSNCG with a win over lowly 1-10 New Mexico. Kellen Moore came into the game with 29 TD compared to just 1 INT. Well, New Mexico picked Moore off 5 times and stunned the nation with a 31-28 win lol.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw it.

Is there any way to avoid getting chop blocked when you're playing defense?

So I played a play now today for the fuck of it. I picked LSU to get a new team to play as. He picked Ohio. Guy ran ran ran all the time. He did the option I don't know how many times. He went for it of 4th down, got stuffed. He punted once, only when it was 4th and 25. Was funny, because you could also tell he had the agressive ball strip on, because every animation was that.

Well I ended up winning 21-0. I said fuck it, went for it on 4th. Pissed him off with a 4th and GL on the 8, and took off with my QB. He had to be steaming.
