it seems like every patch i have seen for every game i play breaks something to fix something, I really hate this shit, I mean they rely way to much on their ability to patch games so they don't work hard enough to get the game right the first time, I have not had one game on PS3 that hasn't required a patch to fix something, we lived for years on console games without having patches, am I really getting that old now.. man I miss NES... WTF am I saying, I must be up too late, but yeah sick of this patch a broken game shit

They don't even test the actual game for bugs...fat fuckin' chance they're testing the patches.

Someone said they found a workaround. I haven't tested it yet...

I've found a complicated work around on offense. Sadly, you will be limited somewhat.

After a successful play, use no-huddle. Pick a play on another "formation", even though the play art will be the same. Once you pick a play, use a formation audible. You'll get a play in whatever formation you picked.

So, pick Ace, even though it will be a split backs play. Then do a formation (with the stick) audible. You've got a play in the formation you wanted.

I notice he doesn't say that it fixes the random crashes not associated with any of the criteria mentioned above.

I noticed they were getting really frequent for me.

I don't think I've had a single freeze on PS3 that I can remember.

But this brings me to another issue. I know Madden has only been out a little over a week but what the fuck is up with the servers? I can play NCAA all damn day long without a hiccup yet I'm lucky to get through a game of Madden.

Playbooks don't seem to be fixed either. Played a whole game with none of my shotgun formations. They all just disappeared. Half my effin playbook was gone.

This patch has pretty much put a halt and potentially killed most of the ODs I'm in.

New in-game glitch post patch:

If you hit triangle to go straight to special teams, it no longer auto highlights the correct play for you. It doesn't even go to the right page. Field goal plays come up in punt situations and vice versa both for offense and defense. Have fun accidentally rushing through that screen and lining up for an 82 yard field goal, guys.

My game didn't start freezing until post patch, so I don't know what the fuck is up... but now I just have a really elaporate ace package for when I need to run no huddle. Thank god I use a pro offense or this game would be totally ruined for me.

Way to go EA. You figure out a way to break a great game again, and guess what... you still got all our money and will get most of the publics money next year. Not mine.

Ran into a random glitch today. New Mexico has wide receiver Detchauz Wray listed on the depth chart as their #1 QB. He's 40 OVR as a QB, and starting over junior BR Holbrook (65 OVR).

Bought a new PS2 and I've been slowly simulating the seasons to match up as close as I'm willing to try for to their real life results.

Made it through 2006 and 2007 with correct NCG matchups, wrong Heisman winners but I don't really care about that stuff.

ND had a fail of a 2007 season just like in real life.

Currently in 2008, trying to get the SECCCG and NCG matchups correct.

Well he got the uniforms, logos, etc right. The rosters need some work.

Yeah that's what hate about team builder you can't modify other peoples work, not even for our own personal use.
