Carmack (lead guy at ID) has said that because of the disk limitations the 360 version of the game when it comes out will be graphically not as good as the ps3 and thats due to the compression needed to fit the game onto the 3 dvds he's going to need for the game. The PC ironically will have the same disk issue but because the machine for the most part can be more powerful it won't need the same compression.
