[PS3] Sony acquires developer Sucker Punch

Sony Computer Entertainment has acquired Sucker Punch, the studio behind titles like Infamous and Sly Cooper, the Tokyo-based game giant revealed today.

I guess that means Sly Cooper and inFamous will continue to stay exclusive.

Exactly. Exclusives suck. I own both consoles, so I really don't care personally, but a lot of guys here can only afford one console ... exclusives suck for them.

It's a fuck yeah cuz now there is no way for some good games to get dumbed down due to space limitations. It is something that is happening more and more with multiplatform games.

I now know where to put my money towards for DLC with exclusivity rights? :ionno:

Added bonus: If inFamous 3 comes out, I know UC4 will be for the Playstation as well since they're chummy with the Beta sharing.

That just furthers my giving $120 to Sony every few years then...

I want more that just Sly Cooper, inFamous and Uncharted games though; greedy, selfish gamer bastard that I am.

It's a shame they couldn't convince Ted Price to go exclusive. They still own the rights to Resistance and R&C but it would've been great to have Insomniac under their umbrella as well.

So should there be any concerns about the quality of their games with this move? Or is it pretty much just to make sure that they stay PS3 exclusive?

I guess your saying that Mass Effect has now been dumbed down since its no longer a 360 exclusive

Did you read what he said? The space limitations only go one way.

Bioware didn't have to worry about space when they took ME to PS3.

                          And it's YOU'RE.

name one PS3 exclusive that is no longer an exclusive that has been dumb down or even been affected by space limitation

i dont understand why he just randomly spew out some garbage. Even worse is you following along with it like its some factual info
