They support their exclusives and in-house developers which is why the best PS3 games come from those developers.

Sony doesn't really lose exclusives like MS has been. But just look at regular multiplatform games. NCAA is the most recent one. The audio is horribly muted in that game. Why? Because it's compressed. Why is it compressed? Because audio takes a shit ton of space and it wouldn't fit on a paltry DVD. And of course EA is fucking lazy so I'm sure the 360 version was the lead and they just ported it to PS3.

That game has been out just over a year. and you still haven't made any facts to claim what I'm saying is false. lmao. FF XI was released on 360 in 2006. the next was in 2009...not to mention all the previously released PC versions for windows.

I don't really understand why anyone would give a shit about exclusivity unless they only owned 1 system. If they DID only own 1 system, I don't understand why they would care about any games being exclusive OTHER than the ones on the system that they don't own, because then they can't play them.

This idea that the stuff going multiplatform is being "dumbed down" is hilarious. Especially when we're talking about one CONSOLE to another. If games have been "dumbed down" in any way, it's when they started going from PC to console, not one console to another.

And if you're going to argue space limitations, can we please use a better example than a lame game like FFXIII?

(Also, I would venture a guess that Sony's superiority in exclusivity is 2 fold 1) they take more risks on new IPs for just one console; and 2) MS doesn't get a lot of the stuff that it churned out for its consoles counted as "exclusive" because it shares them with the PC or is an easier port from the PC -- it's not important to them though because generally sharing with the PC or porting from the PC is win/win for them)

Its funny seeing knubb argue a final fantasy game for limitation since they've never given a fuck about that in the past and just keep putting more and more discs out.
