It isn't just the PS3 stream. I've tried the iPad app and it looked like ass and the PC app won't even load at all. Reading about ST problems being widespread even over the satellite in some viewing locations.

DirecTV needs to be calling their Internet provider(s) today and placing an order for multiple OC-192 feeds into the backbone

Ya, the online website Sunday ticket, loaded and froze me out. The Ipod APP loads, plays for a few minutes, then logs you out. In the past two years they have been ok, nothing great, but ok. I think they are experiencing problems with their non satellite programming with probably more users.

Everything from the sat has viewed fine for me.

Somebody needs to be fired tomorrow. Either the Network Engineer that told the suits that they had enough bandwidth or the VP that told the SVP's that he had saved them all kinds of money by not purchasing the bandwidth that the Engineering group asked for to support the service.

I remember Directv having issues like these last year week 1 as well.
