I hope the '98 roster set makes it in this game, last year's was fantastic. I'm probably gonna create a minor league set for it if anyone is interested in helping. A full minors mid 90s set would be most
tastic for franchise mode.

I could prob do names and stuff for a couple teams, somebody else would have to do ratings and pitches/styles.. I'm clearly not up to par on a lot of things that the baseball fans are so I wouldn't know what to put down outside the informational stuff I could find and plug from the internet.

Yeah names would be huge since we'd need around 200 players. I could do some ratings adjustments based on old scouting reports and b-ref stats, but nothing major.
Just something where you can get a solid multiyear dynasty out of it. Names, likenesses and general attributes should be fine. The guy at OS who creates the major league version does about the same, so adding the prospects would just be gravy.Comment

The stuff towards the end about pitching repertoire was actually kind of interesting, even though he self admits it was nitpicky. Surprisingly he said he hated the new hitting and pitching mechanics. If you're a cynic, you might say he's just appealing to the hardcore traditionalist. He might actually hate the new pitching and hitting mechanics so who knows. Other than that, most of it was a regurgitated fact sheet. Just from reading it, sounds like he couldn't have played more than a handful of exhibition games. I don't think he even mentioned anything about online or franchise play - probably the two most popular game modes in this game. These are only "initial impressions", at best.Comment
