Opening Day Rosters are now out on OS.

Got traded to the Nats for Mike Morse. Hopefully I can get onto the 40-man and get that call-up. I think that's probably going to have to wait for next season though.

That's why the fictional rosters rock.

No chance to go OCD because every player is fake so you have no preconceived notions of who should really be doing what.

Each player just is what he is and who he is in universe.

Dude put out a really good spreadsheet converting ZIPS projections to the show ratings for pitchers and hitters. And a guy used the OSFM spring training release to edit pitch repertoires.

I'm using that as a base and putting in the ratings from the spreadsheet, and setting the rosters to the 25 man opening day rosters, then I'll be good. It's like a 60-90 minute process per team, but fuck I just want to play already. lol

Some guy on OS is making a huge roster set off the Opening day roster released last night.

Using a ratings calculator doing 3 year splits, minor league player rating adjustments. Bunch of stuff. If the site didn't have malware I would post the information but can't on phone.

Yeah, honestly, I prefer the projections to 3 year splits. Obviously, they're not necessarily as accurate since they're only projections after all, but I find it makes more sense that way. You're not playing for the past, you're playing for the present/future, so I feel like using projected stats has it's value.
