Between the "Why the fuck would anyone want to play MW3 when this game is avialable" to the "When I'm in war, I kind of ignore my kid", priceless.Comment

You know what? I now agree. I couldn't find the fucking Bastion DLC to save my life.
Well, at least, I couldn't find it until I searched under "B" in games, for "Bastion" and then found Bastion, and then found the DLC. But seriously, that was way to confusing and time consuming.Comment

The youtube app is actually pretty sweet. There's actually some full length tv shows on there. I've been watching a lot of the NFL Channel series "America's Game" on there. Not that I couldn't watch them before, but now I can watch them on my TV.Comment

Holy fucking shit Seth. Shut the fuck up. I wasn't the only one having issues. None of us could find the Karkand pack the other night. Everyone that ended up playing togther said the same thing that it was a joke to find. I even messaged QuietStorm because I saw him playing and he said it was a pain. He ultimately popped the disc in and got the prompt.
The only way you could find it is if you searched under the B games. Then scrolled over several pages to Battlefield 3. Then clicked on add-ons. Of course it's not on the first page of that. Then you click on "All Items". Then you scroll about five to six pages of avatar bullshit, themes and videos to find the LAST TWO add ons. The Karkand Pack and the 2GB update. Which brings me to my other complaint. The update description just said that it was required to play the Karkand maps, not that they were fucking included.
Was it actually difficult and taxing to find it? Of course not asshole. I was sitting on my ass on the couch. It just wasn't intuitive at all.
And God for fucking bid I tried using that shit Bing search engine to find it.
Again, to clarify for Seth's boneheaded ass. Grif, whoever the fuck else that doesn't get it. My point was that for such a major update they didn't streamline shit. If anything it is more cumbersome. The only point of this update is seemingly to throw more ads in your face, not make Live a more pleasant experience. It just doesn't make sense that it takes me a few minutes to find something on Live now that literally takes me 15 seconds on PSN, the "vastly inferior service", according to most of you clowns.
Just listen to any, and I mean ANY gaming podcast or read any of the blogs. Kotaku, Joystiq, whatever. All of them are saying that all this fucking update accomplishes is getting MS more ad money and it now more difficult to find the content you're looking for.Comment

From the Arcade Random thoughts thread, for those that missed it...
I will say this to add to Twiggs annoyance about this. I knew the Back to karkland map pack came otu but I didn't want to play BF3 at the time. So I figured while I was at my computer doing shit I'd let it download. Went into the dashboard looking for the AD they usually throw at you with high release map packs, couldnt find it so I went into the marketplace, into BF3, found the mappack, triggered to DL it got all the way to the end and see they are still gonna charge me 12000 points, so now Im like fuck man, gotta go get up put the damn disc in, DL the update, DL the map pack, and waste more time just because it wasn't free on the marketplace.
These aren't big problems, but they are an annoying inconvenience that can easily be solved.Comment

You are the posterboy for Louis C.K.'s "Everything is amazing and no one is happy."
And LOL at how mad/insulting you get just because people like me don't give a shit about your issues with the dashboard.Comment

Apparently message boards aren't for discussing these things? Good or bad? Interesting.
The bottom line is I voiced my opinion on how shitty the thing was and then you responded with "It's fine. I can find anything..." which was an argument to what I said. So I'm not supposed to respond to defend my position?
That's MY point. I express an opinion, usually on something shitty. Then you, Grif, KG or whoever come on and say "It's fine. You're just complaining again. You can do this, that and the other to blah, blah blah." Then I respond with why i disagree and then you respond with "But I don't care I think it's fine!" Did you really expect me not to respond when you chose to argue with my opinion? Really?Comment

A $1 Video Game for People who Hate the Xbox 360’s New Look
Do you have an Xbox 360? Have you booted it up recently and had a bunch of ads tumble at you, like so much luggage in an overhead compartment after a turbulent flight?
Have you, perhaps, had trouble finding what you were looking for in the new improved Xbox 360 dashboard?
Pity game developer Nathan Fouts, who is trying to sell Indie Games on the Xbox 360 and is convinced that people can't even find the Indie Games Channel anymore.
Fouts' revenge? He's made a new $1 Xbox 360 Indie Game called Game Type. It's about how wretched he thinks the new dash is. It's also a shoot-em-up. Good luck finding it.

Hilarious! But this guys is obviously wrong because I'm the only person on Earth, at least according to VSN, that can't find anything on the amazing dashboard.
But seriously, I feel even worse for the indie guys. Not only can you not find a certain game you;re looking for but because of MS's ridiculous stupid rules and policies, they can't implement cheevos in their games.
I'm sorry, but with all the amazing games out there, whether on disc or on XBLA, that do offer cheevos, I don't have time, nor do I want to waste my MS funny money on games that don't have them. It;s the truth. And contrary to what most people here will say, there are millions of gamers that feel the exact same way. If these games had cheevos I'd be all over them. Sad but true.Comment

I get the no-cheevos thing, but honestly, I downloaded Wizorb and fucking love it.
I just wish at times we (and I) could get back to a time where just achieving something in a game was enough. But I do see what Twigg is saying, it is hard in a post-cheevo world to really dive into something know that that meta game isn't there.Comment
