Brings back memories, sure, but doesn't hold a candle to the Skate series.
Yes but the nostalgia alone is enough to get me to buy it. Shit came out when I was in 8th grade i believe and dedicated a lot of my time to that game.
Feel free to give any comments or hopes for the game here, I'll pass them on to my friend.
I just sent him a message about the online free skate.
My big question is why they decided to not include/do Tony Hawk 3? It's my personal favorite and I thought it and 2 were considered the pinnacles of the series?
Still, I used to love this series and seriously am really excited for this. I like the idea of HD versions of PS1 games more than PS2 because PS1 games for the most part are almost unplayable now for me.
EDIT -- although I do admittedly get 3 and 4 confused so I might even be thinking of 4.
Shame they left out THPS3 (by far my favorite of the series) but the first two are great. Might have my brother rent this out from Gamestop for a few days...
I saw something about it probably not having original music. That's going to kill a lot of the "nostalgia" for me. I hope they get as much of it as possible. Can't be too hard to license Guerrilla Radio.
For smaller scale projects it just doesn't make sense to pour money into music rights. They need to turn a profit and something like that, while a big deal to us hardcores, is just not worth the extra money.
