Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Getting Download Content
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will see a batch of download levels from Tony Hawk 3 sometime after its release next month.
"We can confirm that there will be downloadable content for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD coming after release, and the first batch will be levels from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3," the team said on its official Facebook page.
"However, the exact levels haven’t been decided yet, so Activision, Robomodo, and Tony Hawk himself want to hear from the fans to help determine the final content."
I don't know why I'm not attatched to THPS3 like everyone else. I was most attatched to THPS2 and THPS4. I think Number 3 must've come out when I was grounded for a year (yes that happened when I was 13 lol). Or maybe it was while I was addicted to StarCraft.

I'm more attached to 1 and 2 since those were the ones I played the most. 3 I had for PC and did play a good amount of but beyond that I didn't really play any of the other ones.
Does anyone else find it funny that a developer like Robomodo can remake a PS1 game but HD collections like MGS and Silent Hill omit the PS1 games?
It's a total nightmare. It depends how the original developers handled the code. Apparently Neversoft didn't really keep things archived well, so Robo essentially had to rebuild everything. I doubt you'd have the same issues with MGS and Silent Hill but I'm not positive. As leaffan mentioned too, rebuilding Tony Hawk PS1 games is relatively easy, they just take pictures of the map and rebuild it using their current engine.
MGS and Silent Hill is a whole different animal. In the other sense it's close enough to what we have now that it would almost require completely rebuilding the game while classic 2D games are so much easier because it's really just copying and HD-ing a lot of graphics.
