I'm a huge sucker for SimCity games. I will easily throw it on one day and before you know it, its midnight. I did that once with Civilization 4. I started around 1pm, and by the time I realized what time it was, it was 7. I was like, holy shit, how the hell did that happen.

Between FEAR and SimCity, I've spent $15 bucks. Can't complain. Add on Star Wars Force Unleashed (360) I finally picked up for $10, I had a good boxing week for gaming.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

    "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

No deals worth getting today for me unless you don't own or have played through oblivion.

I picked up Dead Space for $7 and the entire brothers in arms collection for $8 yestarday.

Anyone want to give me a run down on what these "cards" I'm collecting are all about. Like the snow globe ones I'm getting for buying games?

Also, does your Steam level just increase with the amount of games you play?
            I give rep not thanks

Apparently they're only good for selling, the sale cards usually shoot up in price a few months after the sale, but I forget about them. I would recommend selling most trading cards as soon as you get them as this sale drives the seasonal cards down quickly. I'm hoping to get ~6 bucks for a game.

padman would be the one for that. You get the globes for voting for games to be on the next flash sales.

The cards...I believe if you collect a whole set of cards they can be turned into game badges and tradeable Steam community items. You can also just sell them on the marketplace for steam cash. You earn cards randomly by playing games. They will usually drop 3-4 cards and you will need to trade, borrow or have someone gift u cards to complete the set.

here is Steams way of stating it - http://steamcommunity.com/tradingcards/

Damn. To be fair, I probably have a shit load of game (70+) that I haven't played due to humble bundles.

                            Since we're doing this:
                            • Games owned : 323
                            • Games not played: 190 (59%)
                            • Hours spent: 1,049.8h
                            • Account worth: $4024.67

I've spent $671.50 total on Steam (according to the Enhanced Steam extension for Chrome), ~$100 on Humble Bundle, and ~$200 (conservative estimate) at other retailers. If that last figure is accurate, I've only spent about 25% MSRP for my library.

Yet to play anything on Steam, Assuming its only limited to PC Games? I've got a Mac, so not sure its worth investing the money, idk.
