Finally beat the game. How many people on here have it for 360? I'd love to knock the co-op missions out.

Far Cry 3 free PS3-exclusive 'High Tides' DLC lands January 15

Free 'High Tides' co-op content for Far Cry 3 is washing up on PlayStation Network shores on Tuesday, January 15. The PS3-exclusive DLC includes two chapters, Jailbreak and Redemption, that tell the epilogue of the game's co-op campaign.

Multiplayer-focused developer Massive Entertainment says High Tides features the "final moments" of the co-op campaign's quartet and their adventure on the island. Going by the description of "tougher fights," "bigger competitions," and "explosive moments unlike anything you've seen before," we suspect it won't chronicle a long day of struggling to nap on a rock-solid airport couch, which is how our island adventures usually end.

I don't see anything in those patch notes about the voice chat being improved or bugs with not being able to complete objectives in co-op.

The co-op is fun but the difficulty is so unbalanced.

Don't know about you guys but this game is so fucking frustrating. I walk off the smallest fucking ledge and fucking die, I run into a fucking dog and die, I swim in the lake and die, I ambush one car of 2 pirates and all the sudden 5 fucking cars with .50 cals and 20 pirates show up and I die. Maybe I just fucking suck god damnit.

Any tips on surviving walking through the jungle and not getting killed by every living fucking creature? That's the most annoying part about this game, everywhere you walk some animal is trying to kill you. Rarely do I have full ammo cause anywhere I walk I have to waste 2 clips trying to kill every creature that I come across. And any tips for getting money? I never have enough to buy attachments on guns and rarely have enough to get full ammo.

Play through the Campaign until it unlocks Hunting Syringes.

One of them allows you to craft syringes that ward off animals so you can make quick escapes if need be.

As for guns, invest in sniper rifles and silencers for whatever gun you like using the most; scopes too if you can afford it.

As long as enemy guards don't find the body or see their buddies drop dead in front of them, you can pick off most of them from afar without trouble.

Other than that, learn to use your camera more (the tool they showed you to spot things with); it's basically the one thing that will keep enemy locations on your screen at all times so you can plan where to move and act.

Also, start collecting leaves and skins/pelts/furs as you progress as they can be used for packs to carry more stuff in (like ammo, money and extra guns) and creating better stuff.

And if all else fails, go buy some body armor from local shops.

You aren't buying any guns from the store are you? B/c you shouldn't. Just go around and unlock towers and you'll get all the guns you need for free that way.
