I played a little over an hour of Blood Dragon, and it's fun so far. It also looks fantastic on my PC. Hopefully, I can get through a larger chunk tomorrow.

It's fun. Solid humor with a lot of nostalgia and good 80s action movie styled music.

Since I haven't played Far Cry 3, I can't comment on whether they've improved on certain game mechanics or how they're similar.

About the only thing I don't like so far is the constant purple lighting coming from the sky.

I liked the story and the open world game plan. However, I felt like every mission was pretty much exactly the same with a few twists.
