Nah, more to do with the smoothness of the players and from some of the videos of Elite 11 that leaked out the players don't have that annoying "bump/stop" shit they do in NBA 2k where as soon as you touch a defender if feels like you're dragging an anchor. Plus NBA 2k something seems off about the scale of the floor size to me. Spacing is always fucking awful.
Spacing has always been my biggest issue with 2K.
CPU AI is also pretty horrible this year. Nothing better then being up 3 with 10 seconds to go and the CPU attempting a contested 2 at the buzzer!
