Eh...in an arcadey type racer the fine tuning shouldn't be a huge loss.

Forza Horizon Season Pass, Soundtrack Details

Microsoft has revealed details on the Forza Horizon Season Pass and soundtrack. Announced today, the pass will give fans automatic access to December’s Forza Horizon expansion, plus six car packs each containing six vehicles. Season Pass customers will also get five exclusive cars, plus access to the pack of cars released on launch day.

The Season Pass will be available from day one (October 23rd) for $49.99 (4,000 Microsoft Points). According to Microsoft, buying the Season Pass will save players 17% versus buying each pack of content separately.

Meanwhile, Microsoft also revealed the soundtrack for Forza Horizon. Tracks will be divided between three radio stations, including:

Horizon Bass Arena - “A bleeding-edge mix of the latest electronic and dance music, from dubstep to electro to drum & bass. If it’s got bass, you’ll find it here.”
Horizon Pulse - “An eclectic selection of indie festival favorites, remixed to keep you driving.”
Horizon Rocks - “If it’s got guitars in it, it’s here. Whether these bands are hitting the festival scene for the first time in 2012 or are legends reforming for one last gig, you’ll find a diverse selection of music on this station, all turned up to eleven.”

Tracks from Skrillex, Four Year Strong, The Black Keys, Lostprophets and more are included among more than 60 artists overall. For a full list, head to our Forza Horizon soundtrack wiki guide.

I'm pretty excited for this game. I'll decide on buying the LCE or regular version after playing the demo.

I've played it for about an hour. From what I've played, they did a pretty good job. If the full game is close to what the demo is like, I would be very pleased. The car handling feels good. I was using my Fanatec CSR on 900 degrees with manual/w clutch. It steering is smooth(or rather..closer to what a car of that power should feel like) and the shifting is also smooth. I honestly didn't think I was going to like it, but It's really good.

Car handling was great. They didn't completely arcade it, but they slightly adjusted it so you can drift corners quite a bit easier. The off-road race was pretty fun, although I thought the Mustang vs. Mustang race was kind of dumbl. Looks like a quality game, but I think it's still #3 on my most anticipated racing games list for the rest of the fall season.

Honestly, the dirt race felt like dirt 3 in terms of handling and force feedback. It worked very nicely. The roads them selfs, seem to be very well thought out. If the rest of the world is like that, i would be happy. In terms of where I put int on my list of games...well...the only other racing game I'm getting are PC sims(Iracing, Project Cars, Rfactor 2) since I'm getting into that. However, I may look into getting this a little further down the road. I don't think I'll be getting it when it comes out. Lets say it like this, if you buy 5-6 games a year, I would get it. In my case, Call of duty: Bops 2, Halo 4, Boarderlands 2, F1 2012, and Forza Horizon. That would make for a pretty good set of games to me.

I bet my wallet would be a lot happier if I only bought 5-6 games a year lol. iRacing is something I'd like to try at some point, but I just don't have a computer to run it (all I have is a MacBook Pro and a pile of crap Dell laptop). I'll be picking up NFS: Most Wanted and NASCAR The Game in the next couple months for the racing genre (along with AC3, Halo 4, Dishonored, Hitman, Far Cry 3 and maybe Medal of Honor lol).

Yeah, I'm building a gaming PC to run it. If I'm honest, I don't have a very big interest in Nascar. No idea why, I just lost interest at some point. I'm a Indycar/F1/sports car racing type of person. I also Love rally, whether it's rallycorss or stage rally.
