u haters are crazy...this game looks cool as fuck. I think its exactly what the series needs. Forza lost its appeal by being overly simulation. now i love sim as much as anyone, but unless your a hardcore racer game fan, then forza is kind of a bore. This game howver seems to put the fun back into the game while still maintaining the sim aspects people want from a racer.

Nobody's really hating on it, there's just too may others coming out. I think it looks fun, but NFS: Most Wanted looks better, so that's what I'll be getting day 1 since these release a week apart. Forza Motorsport is meant to be a sim racer, nothing else. It's never really been geared towards the casual fan. I'll definitely be getting this game, it looks very good, but with 3 other racing games I'm getting this fall, it's going to have to wait a couple months.
The only thing that bothers me is when the reviews compare it to the Forza Motorsport franchise, b/c that makes no sense. Horizon isn't meant to be a sequel to FM4, or even remotely close. It should be looked at as a completely separate franchise that's under the supervision of Turn 10. It just makes no sense to compare a sim to a mostly arcade racer. But like I said, it looks fun, and I'll definitely pick it up over the winter.Comment

it does have a NFS feel but without the cops. but also, NFS drives like an arcade game. This game is supposed to drive like forza sim but in a NFS world.Comment

Ok, so these guys are from inside sim racing( no idea if anyone here has ever been to their website or not). I like these guys, and I trust most of what they say about the games they review. It's a long video, but it's good. They also did a review of f1 2012 that was spot on.
On a side note, for anyone who was wondering, you can still upgrade and tune like you can in forza 4....At least, thats what I get from what they say and show in the video. You can also tell, they were happy about the game, they like it. Believe me, if they didn't like it, they would say so. They are honest....If you don't believe me, go watch their review of test drive ferrari, lol.

Yeah, we all watch Inside Sim Racing. I posted a video from them for F1 with their new review system (instead of points).
They are basically the GO TO guys for racing games and peripherals.
I really wish they would stop saying 'ForTza' though!
I do see at 4:18 the mention of Forza 5 in 2013

Somewhere in this thread I said I won't get this game. I think I will , because I like how it has the Autolog like feature similar to NFS.
