The cities are meant to be small. You aren't supposed to be able to have EVERYTHING in your city, you have to choose and specialize. In past games, you could literally have everything in your city with almost no problem. Now you need to choose where you will specialize and then how you can work with your region towards achieving any personal goals or great works.
As for my starter city, I'm either going with super commercial or mining and industry. I am interested in seeing what super commercial areas look like.
I say we all do our starter cities in a region with eachother. It will be fun to see what direction people go in. If we want to bulldoze it all and restart in a couple weeks with actually committed players, than that is fine, too. But it would be cool if we all fucked around in the same region.Comment

I think that's a good idea. We can practice specializing and trading with each other, even work on building some Great Works. Then in a week or two, we can scrap it and start up our real VSN region.
My vote goes for the Viridian Woods region.Comment

I don't know any of the regions, but I want to have some coastal areas for tourism/commercial needs. Any region that has that along with enough spots for everyone (I think probably 8-10 of us will have the game tomorrow), then we are golden.Comment

There's an 11 city region, but we might as well just go with a 16 one. Some people may want to join us after a few days or so and some people may want to try out a second city. Plus I'm just not a fan of how mountainous the 11 city region is lol.Comment
