Finally played through this. Really enjoyed it. Set up a little darker tone for the rest of this season.

Almost done replaying Season One and 400 Days to prep for Season Two...
I had forgotten how bleak the game gets and then Chapter Three rolled around.
Two was dark as all hell as well but at least you had the benefit of Redshirt characters... Three just turns around and gets mean and nasty.
...definitely a Walking Dead vibe if there ever was one.Comment

Finished Season 1, 400 Days and Chapter 2 of Season 2.
Took me about a week to do it with my current schedule but I got it done and now I see where all of Clementine's Zombie-Fu training is going to good use.
Season 2 SPOILERS ahead!
I was shocked that Omid ate it so suddenly after trying to set it up where Clem would hang out with him and Christa.
I knew as soon as she left her gun unattended that it was a rap for him after he opened the door without a weapon on-hand.
I definitely am digging where the story's going so far and having Clem as the protagonist this time doesn't bug me as much.
Since she's had time to adjust to the Zombie outbreak for a while, it's more believable that she at least knows how to brain a zombie if need be.
And if that didn't make her tough enough, having to sit through the entire stitching scene with her dog bite made me queasy...
Dunno if I could do that myself personally.
I wasn't a fan of one glaring script plot-hole in that Pete automatically knew my name even though I'm sure it never came up in the conversation when it came to him bringing her back from the woods to his group's basecamp.
It's forgivable (especially if I just missed that part for a few seconds) but it was just weird that Pete knew who I was and sounded like we had hung out all of Season 1 into this chapter of Season 2.
Still, I think this Season will be worth the price-point again for the Season Pass and I can't wait to see moreComment

So I played it and expected a wow, but you may have overhyped it a bit. I never liked that character so the return wasn't as impactful and very very very far from being a top emotional game moment for myself. This episode was good tho, but I doubt anything they do will top the season one finale.Comment

DO NOTE THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THE TRAILER!
New episode's been out for a day or so.
MUCH better than Episode 2 and I have a feeling it's only going to get better until the Season's Finish.
What I did for Episode 3 -
SPOILERS.
-When I was in the greenhouse with Sarah and Reggie (didn't know it was Kumar Nanjiani from The Indoor Kids and Franklin and Bash... it was a pleasant surprise), I helped Sarah with her chores.
The consequence of Reggie getting killed over it made me feel bad over the guy who desperately just wanted to be part of the group again; even if they treated him like dog shit.
-I told Bonnie that Luke was around to bust us out w/ our Walkie-Talkie scheme.
She seemed to be the most trustworthy if only because she admitted that she was supposed to leave with Luke and his crew beforehand but wussed out.
It's rare to get second opportunities and she took it.
-I tried to tell Carver that I "found" the Walkie-Talkies but there was a SHARP payback for that.
Kenny covered up for me and it cost him his eye.
I honestly thought they would kill off Kenny in this episode but there's still some time left for that...
-And as the saying goes, when it came down to finally taking on Carver himself... I watched as Kenny beat him to death w/ a crowbar.
It wasn't pleasant or fun or even satisfying (dunno if it would be if the game would have let me do it myself... and I fuckin' SHOT Carver just seconds before) but Carver got what he deserved.
-Finally, after we got everyone together (Luke and his crew, Kenny and Sarita, Mike and Jane, and Bonnie...), I KNEW it wouldn't tie up in a little bow for me and I was right.
Carlos got bit, dragged down and ripped to shreds...
Sarah lost her shit and ran away into the woods...
Troy got shot in the dick by Jane and was left to be devoured...
...and after taking a cue from seeing Lee and then Reggie losing an arm to the undead hordes...
I was left w/ seeing Sarita's horrified face as I lopped her arm off with an axe to hopefully stem off the walker infection.
I don't think she'll make it one way or another.
Also, FUCK everyone from the 400 Days expansion for going from awesome people I cared about to assholes working as Carver's cronies.
I don't care if it was because of the zombie apocalypse... I wanted to see them be part of my group, not leaving them to die on top of the "Not Wal-Mart/Lowes'"
All and all, I'd say that this was an excellent episode and if you get the chance, please find time to play it.Comment

Man, Episode 3 of Season 2...
Spoilers
Jumped for joy when we took over Carver's prison camp - killing that cock sucking dick nose never felt so good.
And when they gave me (Clementine) the option to watch Kenny smash Bill's face in, you bet your ass I stayed and watched.
So fucking excited for episode 4 now - this season has been incredible.
I'll post all my choices up to date when I get the chance.Comment
