What do you mean by scheme? Playbooks? Formations?

Believing he is referring to the offensive and defensive philosophy from team to team.

Im a little curious myself about the schemes. If i choose a 4-3 scheme as a coach and choose the colts how does that work since you cant edit players to put people where you want them. Or is your scheme automatically connected to what team your on and you cant choose

I think you create your coach and you select your coach philosophy and I am not 100% but have seen where people are talking like you can be a defensive, offensive, motivator or strategist type of coach and each coaching philosophy focuses and gives you the coach more xp, ability to land FA etc with players that fit your philosophy. I would guess at sOme point in this process you select say a defensive scheme as well, allowing you to see the position ovr's for players that fit that scheme. An example would be Jared Allen may be a 97 ovr in a 4-3 but only a 87 ovr in a 3-4 DE position.

i wonder if there will be more then just 4-3, 3-4 ...4-3 (tampa-2,zone blitz(Philly), man) multi D ie Houston.

will all 3-4 be equal and if not will it make it a bitch to sign players from one style to another

what about offence ... west coast, power run, spread?

Dont expect intricate shit like Baltimores 3-4 being different than Green Bays. This is EA we are talking about. I expect the defensive schemes to be exactly what is already in the game (3-4, 4-6, 4-3, Cover 2) and dont expect for any of them to be different from team to team. I believe players will be rated the same amongst different teams that use the same scheme with their ratings dropping in schemes that doesnt fit them.

But if Jared Allen is a de in a 4-3 he should be an blitzing olb in a 3-4, if i cant edit positions does he stay a de or move to olb?

You could still slot him in OLB in your depth chart no?

Doubt you can change his position, it sounds like it'll just destroy his overall if you play him a 3-4.

A thing to remember is players playing out of their natural scheme will not effect their individual ratings, just their overall rating.

I think the question is, should we have too?
