The PS4 version is upscaled to 1080p. I'm surprised Digital Foundry was able to put out that comparison between PS4 and Xbox One though. MS has embargoed everyone else from mentioning anything about the Xbone version for two more weeks.

Well it's pretty clear that the XB1 in the comparison had much higher detail, particular in the backgrounds, but the PS4 had higher resolution.

Even Reddit agrees that it's more detailed on the XB1 and they hate the system almost as much as you do. For shame man.

It looks pretty balanced to me, there were parts where PS4 was clearly better and parts I liked with the Xbox One, as well.

If this is the average difference for 3rd party games between the two systems, that will be fine with me.

Reddit prolly believes it looks better than PC as well then. Cause it doesn't have the ridiculous contrast/saturation. That gives it a certain "pop". It isn't just brightness as you say. Go look at the comparison videos to PC to understand how the game is meant to look. As far as my "hate" for it; I'm still getting one. Potatoes is more on the money. Overall it performs better on PS4. Won't actually be able to tell the real difference until you get to see both with your own eyes
