Of course you'll never live down the shame like a bad tattoo so it's up to you...
Bad tattoo? More like greatest tattoo.

I have yet to truly achievement whore like this. And this is AFTER a good friend who worked at a Gamestop offered to borrow Avatar (the ultimate, the original, whore game) from the store for me just to get the 1000 points. It's weird, because I definitely play for the points at times (to the point of double dipping at times with the awful Games for Windows Live), but even then, I never put myself through something that I would actively dislike for them.

Doesn't the Walking Dead game give you a platinum for just finishing the entire story? That would seem like a more enjoyable first platinum than a good ol' Miley Cyrus sing a long

It's like looking at an indie band's catalog before they break.

Pre-"Party in the USA" shit all up in there.

For real though, Walking Dead's a more enjoyable Platinum to get nowadays... but you gotta get the Season Pass to get it.

NCIS or Hannah Montana could stand to get you through a 3-day or less "rental" from GameStop and then you get your money back to put toward something you'd actually need.

        Like food... or beer.

Beat Hotline Miami through both the Jacket and Biker levels plus the two bonus levels.

Not enough Biker levels to my liking (having 3 knives and a Cleaver to use only is a REAL challenge) but the sequel's coming out soon and that's an instant buy.

Beat and platinum'd Saints Row: The Third on PS3 and got 100% completion on Puzzle Agent 2 on PC. Puzzle Agent 2 is much easier than the first.

Beat SR4 in 4 days (7 hours in-game time), got both the good ending and the secret ending.

Loved almost every minute of it until the very end mission but then again, if I dug that too I'd be disappointed in how easy it was to beat the game.

Definitely worth a rental if you're on the fence and a buy if you're a fan of the series.

Have you experienced the delight that is the Capra Demon and his two asshole dogs? That was a fun one. I found that the Drake Sword really made the Gargoyle battle not too bad. Tell me you have that? Also, you needed to cut the tail off! You get what I consider to be a pretty underrated Axe from it.
I have yet to face the demon with the two dogs, but I did cut off the tail, get the axe, but what is this Drake sword you're talking about?

Dude, I don't know how far along you are, but the Drake Sword makes the first 15 hours or so bearable (the Gargoyle fight included). If you go to the Red Douchebag Dragon over the bridge, run down underneath, go to the right, and have like, at least 100 arrows or so (to account for missing) and fire said arrows into its tail...you get the Drake Sword once it falls off. It 1 hits pretty much everything for the majority of the early part of the game, and allowed me to mushroom tattoo those Gargoyles that buttraped you.

Finished Splinter Cell: Blacklist tonight. Very good game. I also beat Metal Gear (1989) a little while back but I don't think I posted it.

I beat Resident Evil Revelations on the PS3 tonight. It's nice to see a newer RE game that goes back to the roots of the RE series with survival horror gameplay instead of the action crap. It's much more fun to have a few enemies here and there and having the suspense build up going around every corner than trying to outrun and kill a wave a 36 enemies every time. The exploration and backtracking was very nice as well. I really enjoyed the levels that were on the cruise ship. The few that weren't were pretty meh, but not awful either. I wish they didn't throw you around to so many characters, that's probably my biggest complaint, although it certainly didn't ruin the game at all. The final boss was a real son of a bitch. Took me about an hour of trying to finally take his ass down. But for realsies, it was really refreshing to play a survival horror Resident Evil game from this gen. Oh, and the terrible, cheesy voice-acting made even more of a throwback. Loved it.

I remember hearing rumors about RE Revelations 2, which would be fantastic, but I haven't heard anything more since earlier this summer. Whatever the case, all of the Resident Evil people need to take note with how shitty the past few action-horror RE games have been received and how well this one was.

Saints Row 4 is in the books after last night. I took some fun screenshots that I'll upload when I get home tonight. I was too tired to do so last night. Anyway, I hit the 19.5 hours mark at completion, with something like 89 or 90% of everything done. If I were so inclined, I think that I just need to complete the challenges and collect a random few orbs. It's unlikely I ever go and do that though.

Really, really great game. Perhaps not quite as fresh as SR3 was, but still entertaining as hell and zipping around the city as a superhero never got old. It seems to dip into the well of gags a little often, but they always manage to put a fresh enough spin on them to keep from seeming stale. Good example: Boss and Pierce singing Biz Markie together.

Just beat Deadlight on the PC. Kind of a forgettable game kind of a shame as it started out so promising but never expanded on anything. Story was blah and game play was nothing to write home about. The graphics were quite nice though. Took 6 hours...glad I picked it up for $3.74.

Anyway nice to put it in the books...next?

Saints Row IV? Or do you want to just go short experiences until GTAV?
