I'm about 15hours deep into ME2, but this game has alot of meat along the way. Recruited Jack, Grunt, Kasumi, Zaeed, Garrus, Mordin so far...going to get everyone and then knock out their personal missions. Just finished all the nonsense with the racing gun machine thinger, that mission is a mixed bag for me. I mean, the thing is sorta fun to rip around in, wished it was more open like ME1 and had more mobs to mash through though. The mission itself, that fucking AI SCREAMING at you. Man just fuck off, makes me want to leave him all fucked up to be tortured more. If you really want it to stop, then why you making my life so fucking hard asshole?

Noticed I'm 3 achievements shy of them all, should look at doing that maybe. Never done that for a game before.

Although this is a hard run, not insanity so another run to get that one will be needed. Decided at some point in the next while, I'm going to do a complete full Paragon and a full Renegade run 1 through 3. This one now is kinda like my original run, just do how I personally feel in each situation rather than being a character. Although she's been vastly diff from my first run through.

Basically Overlord is supposed to remind you much of a shitlord factory Cerberus is.

And as you play puppet to the Illusive Man, you get a nice nugget like this as to show you, Cerberus is the kid who got a science kit when they were 7 and then used it to make abominations against God and Science.

Better yet, Cerberus is Sid from Toy Story but as an organization.

got really stalled with the discovery of the games console commands. been tinkering with alot of visuals and game adjustment. most of the gameplay things are total cheese. like no cooldown for powers. plus you can add any skill to your player. give yourself all the XP or talent points you want...which is completely unfair. then there are weapons and armor that can only be unlocked with console commands. like this geth pulse rifle that does 35000 damage....lol

i messed around with these things tonight, but im going to reload my save. its fun, but ruins the game play and leveling up

the only things i will use are visual stuff. like expanding the field of vision, removing the opening cut scenes and being able to skip any in game cutscenes.

if you think driving the mako is hard, try doing it with a keyboard and mouse.....fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

got Liara and halfway through Noveria last night. another slow go because i somehow messed up my ability to advance the dialog. i hate listening to the irrelivent discussions and the spacebar advances the dialog. i spent a good portion of my time figuring out how i messed that up...got it fixed though

finished noveria. after getting back on the normandy i get linked up with the council to discuss my report.

Once i get my pc built i'm definitely getting the trilogy for my PC. at those gfx maynard.

yeah its real nice. does not feel like a 07/08 game. no modding there either. thats stock specs

Im starting my 2013 off right! I never played Mass Effect but constantly heard people praising it so I bought the trillogy pack and just a hour into the first im in love! The only problem I have is I have no idea how to do the hacking any pointers?

It's basically 'Simon Says.'

Don't press buttons too quickly and you should be fine.

Other than a few choice spots to gain access to extra dialogue choices, you're only getting copies of weapons you don't need or armor you won't wear.

If you're keeping your squad and team up-to-date with their gear, you shouldn't worry about it too much unless you're an XP hound.

If you're really getting boned on hacks, look into holding onto all the gear you come across during the earlier goings of the game.

By the time the game tells you you've reached the 150 item limit, you should be able to finish whatever mission you're on and return to the Normandy.

From there, go down to the shuttle bay near engineering (4th floor I think) and talk to the Alliance shop guy on the immediate right.

Sell whatever you don't want/need (you don't need anything except anti-synthetic rounds for Geth fights and acid rounds for the most part but it's up to you as a personal preference) and you should start getting upward into the 200,000-300,000s in returns from sold goods.

Add that to whatever you get just for playing the game and you can easily max out your credits by mid-to-late game.

After you hit that 9,999,999+ credit limit, just turn the rest into medi-gel.

Use said medi-gel for whatever your heart desires.

its kind of hard. the easy ones are no pro, but anything above that is a real challenge. i have to make sure i have a supply of omni gel so i can pay after i fail to hack it.

please tell me you are not really having that much trouble with the mini game on the consoles? its just matching the colors or shapes
